“First time visiting and won't be last. Even though the place is small, we weren't crowded. We visited around 1pm on a Sunday. They were out of horchata but had other Aguas frescas. The pan dulce is just ok. I'm picky about my pan de huevo... seems like many places stopped using aniss (still on the look out). The menudo was a nice surprise. The soup was very flavorful, just wished they gave more meat and hominy. Freshly made corn tortillas were excellent, and nice flour tortillas too. The barbacoa is good too. Over all the flavor and service was great. We will be visiting again soon.”

Apple mimosa wasn’t great, the strawberry orange one was amazing! Tried the grapefruit and the watermelon ones as well. The best one was the pineapple one! “If you are looking for the best chicken and waffles in and around Houston, you have to try Jacquay's. And don't let the driver deter you.... I live about 40 min away and still come here regularly. They make everything fresh when you order it and I've never been disappointed. The chicken has an amazing flavor and not overly breaded. And the waffles are light and fresh and perfectly made, I don't even need syrup. (They will bring you some if needed).... Jaquay's gets 2 thumbs up, you gotta try it!!”

“Authentic Mexican food and drinks. I'm not sure why people say it's over priced. It isn't Taco Bell (thank God! 🤢). Maybe that was your expectation but it's definitely not that type of place. A quick Google search prior to arriving at the restaurant can help you with that. Don't show up with unrealistic expectations then blame it on the restaurant. Do your research first. It's a restaurant and they use real ingredients that are actually cooked there and the drinks are fresh. Been to any sit down restaurant and paid less than $12 for a plate lately? Not me. I'd pick this over any Tex Mex restaurant any day of the week. Keep doing what y'all are doing. I visit at least once a week!”

My wife and I got an earful about the tennis shoes were wearing. Building common ground with the cashier before placing our order was a bonus. The selection alone is beyond expectations of kolache's if you are a first time customer. Be prepared to spend a little more but you are getting what you pay for. The Kolachies were fantastic. Our choice was with the biscuts and gravy, and the chorizo. If you are looking for a kolache that will impress EVERYONE, buy it from this place. 5 stars.”

“I was happy to see a new restaurant sprout up in this strip. On the outside - I honestly thought it was a watch shop! When entering the restaurant everything is clean and new and pleasing to the eye. My party and I came on a busier day, so we waited quite a while for our orders to come in. The juice served was smooth and flavorful and quite fun to watch mix together. While the food was quite good, I was saddened that my portions where smaller than "traditional" breakfasts. For instance, I got one sausage (which tasted great), but I only got one and it was quite small. Same with the egg portion, I believe I only got one egg. I felt I paid a little much for what I got. I will be returning to try other dishes, I would recommend to try something new for you as well!”

With minor dress code sacrifices .. the more bodies you get in.. the more money you make. We were offered a cabana several times which again sounded awesome.. but you don’t want to buy a section at a place that’s empty because the point is in a crowded club you have a place to sit.. last but not least it was a little bright I. There and around the bar.. the brightness was a bit of a buzz lol… so I give it 4 out of 5.”
