“I love Myth and Ember they have great drip coffee and lattes. Their signature menus and seasonal drinks are always tasty. The muffins are all gluten friendly but you can’t tell. They are just so delicious. 😋 Definitely give myth and ember a try and walk around downtown Van Alstyne. It’s so cute! Sweet small town. Supporting local business is great especially when the owner and staff is this passionate about their work and genuinely happy. 😃”

“Not sure where the guy from 3 years ago came from but my experience has always been 180 degrees opposite. Jeff is the most honest and dependable mechanic I have ever used. Many times I have been advised that repairs on my old truck could wait or have been offered suggestions on how to make something last longer. I have never been pressured to do any unnecessary work. Our entire extended family takes our autos there and it's personable, accurate, reasonable and they are pleasure to do business with. I very seriously doubt that you will be disappointed from a simple oil change to an overhaul.”

“Was looking for something new and I am glad we came here! It has a very cute seating area and a menu with a wide variety of sandwiches and drinks. I got a bacon egg and cheese croissant and a sugar free caramel cold brew and my boyfriend got a heavenly hog panini and a lemonade. I thought my sandwich was good. Very standard so you can’t go wrong with that. I think I should’ve gotten a latte instead of a cold brew because the cold brew was a bit bitter for my taste. The heavenly hog was good with both savory and sweet flavors and the lemonade was good but basic. The sandwiches were pulled out of a fridge and then warmed up in an oven, but they were still good (just a heads up if you were expecting fresh off the stove top). The staff was very nice and offered to take my trash for me when I was done eating 😄. I do plan on coming here again to try some of their other sandwiches and coffee flavors!”

“We found Pestico to be extremely professional. They came to our home and inquired what our concerns were. They listened as we listed what we have been noticing, asked questions, and completed a thorough investigation. Then they explained their findings, discussed how they would treat them and answered all our questions. Our time outside of work is very important so the fact that they were here on time and concentrated on our individual need was much appreciated!”

“Customer service experience was fantastic. Kim got back to me in less than 24 hours (as her website states) & the communication was clear, precise, & informative as she put in cake instructions on how to serve before the party. The decoration of the cake was amazing! It was similar to the inspiration photo I sent in, not identical because she puts on the website for copyright purposes it won’t look exactly the same but I loved it! The taste of the cake was perfection. The raspberry butter cream was had a sour sweet tang to it that really brought the flavor of the vanilla & butter cream around the cake together. The best cake I’ve had in a long time! Will recommend to friends & family!”

“The Duchess Inn is a secret gem of a place for quilt retreats or family reunions. A beautiful old (1886) Victorian house is lovingly restored and ready for you to pretend that you are the elegant lady portrayed in the period photos displayed throughout the house. My quilt group of 9 sewists rented the house for a weekend and had a marvelous time! The crafting room had everything you could possibly want: good light, lots of plugs, cutting and ironing stations, and design walls. The bedrooms have a range of sleeping arrangements and the beds are SO comfortable. We walked a short two blocks for dinners at great restaurants in the little downtown in this historic town. Our hostess Rebecca was welcoming and gracious. It was a wonderful weekend and we can't wait to go back.”
