“My wife and I went bicycling from Bayou Parkland and rode accross the bridge into Hermann Park. Bayou Parkland was a convenient place to park for access to the trails and the restroom there was clean. I can't say if it was typical but at least on this day there was plenty of parking. I was a little bit concerned about security because there was a person sitting in his car that wasn't going anywhere. I did not see any security cameras. After circling the park we rode along the bayou for a few miles then back. It was a beautiful sunny day and overall the trails were in pretty good shape. the trails could have been been maintained better but they weren't bad. As we got farther away from Bayou Parkland, the trail system had more grade crossings than I was used to on the trails around San Antonio.”

“One of the best places in Houston to spend an evening enjoying live performances. Outdoor seating is plenty, but arriving half hour earlier is recommended especially if you are spreading your blanket and enjoying drinks or dinner before the show.”

“Herman Park is one of the most beautiful parks in Houston! You are capable of pretty much doing so much here. From walking, riding bikes, to riding the peddle boats, feeding the birds, and going to the Japanese Garden. You enjoy a variety of things to do with your family! It is close to the museum, the zoo, the children’s museum, health museum, and outside theatre. So many places to choose from near this park!”

“Took my 15 pictures here. So quiet and peaceful even for just a walk! It’s so beautiful just don’t mess with Texas and litter! Beautiful all seasons!”
