“I found this place by accident. A pleasant jewel in the inner city. You don’t have to leave the city to see some green and enjoy the outdoors. I love this place. Just bring mosquito repellent after the rains. This may have been my first visit but it definitely won't be my last.”

“An absolute gem, amazing to find a place like this inside the loop. I called first and talked to Jeff on the phone, he was incredibly helpful and - even though I just wanted a few bags of compost - he made sure someone would be available at Farm Dirt to help me out (he was off site). I drove over and walked up (not a super obvious entrance, I just walked in) and was greeted by Danny (the founder I believe?). He bagged up compost for me on the spot and even threw in a bag of mulch for free. We talked gardening and gardeners and he gave me a few tips for setting up my backyard garden too. Really genuine, nice guy. The compost quality is the best I've seen, the mulch is fantastic too. I just got back, so nothing is growing in it yet, but I wanted to post a review immediately about my great experience with Farm Dirt and the people who work there. Keep it up guys, I'll be back!”
