“I recently purchased a rather expensive bike. Usually I can do minor repairs myself, I caught a flat and tried to fix it myself but this bike required an inner tube I could not find. I called "Rob" and I was rolling in no time. Great choice.”

“Visited first time to get some help with my grandsons stroller tire. Excellent service and Oswald who helped me was very polite and took care of my problem with a smile. Love to visit this place. A minor negative part was( looks like) a new employee a young girl who was controlling the door to let customers in and out needs some training to make customers welcome with a smile.”

“I was looking for comfortable shoes for running. Chris was there to assist me and help me find the perfect shoes. He asked me several questions about my feet and whether I had any pains. After assessing me, he recommended HOKA One. They are the best shoes I’ve ever had!!! This store has friendly and knowledgeable staff, I will definitely recommend it.”

“A picture is worth a thousand words but words provide an honorable mention to excellent service provided by good hands. After meeting Chris through a mutual CCC friend/ Mr. RJ as well as my brother, I decided to take my stock Electra Townie 21D for not only a face lift but a bit of fine tuning. Chris suggested changing out the stock bearings in the wheels as well as the crank and replacing them with sealed bearings, changing out the front metal crank/gears, crank arms and pedals for light weight components, not only reduced resistance but also lighten the cruiser overall. In addition the spoked wheels were changed out with red mags making it "pop" and giving the old townie and unique look. The rear gears and hub were also changed out with custom gear ratios recommended by Chris which made shifting of the gears seamlessly smoother giving me a faster top end. The chain was also changed out with a higher quality chain, color coordinated with the mags. The handle bars and neck were changed out giving it a townie/BMX hybrid look. Last but not least the tires were replaced with Michelin Protek Urban Aramid tires 87 PSI and Michelin C4 Protek Max MTB tubes. All in all the final package rides super smooth and quick. I definitely recommend this shop as well as Chris workmanship. Great job Chris!!!”

“Took my 80s Peugeot in for lots of work. Got new tires, fenders, rack, brake pads, saddle, bar tape, tubing, and a general tune up done timely and at a good price. I’ve been back to purchase helmets for the kids and another bike for the son. Employees have been honest and very helpful and impressively enthusiastic. Great store. I went to a few others in the area and will not go anywhere else but Tailwinds now.”

“Ham Cycles solved my brake problems with incredible tenacity, creativity, skill and intelligence. I had taken my bike to two other shops. Ham's solved what the others couldn't. The actually listened to me. They also took time teach me how the brakes work, how they are engineered, and how to properly care for my bike's brakes. I cannot recommend them highly enough.”
