“We stumbled upon this restaurant on the way home from a convention. From the time you walk in, everyone is extremely friendly. The waitstaff was wonderful and our food came out quickly. Their salsa was wonderful, flavorful with a little kick. Their tacos were amazing. I honestly don’t have a complaint about this restaurant.”

“Pretty tasty neighborhood bar and restaurant. The food is good enough but I think what sets this place apart is the service and folks that work there. There is actually no management I've met that has been more courteous and kind than....well I forgot his name but he's a nice guy. That queso be on point too baby! Also you can judge any mex restaurant by it's salsa. If I say the salsa is good...it's good....and let me tell ya....it's good 😁”

“The food was delicious and reasonably priced for the portion size. Our server was polite and friendly, which is sometimes hard to come by with teenagers. The restaurant was incredibly clean. I hope to find an excuse to make my way back for another visit in the near future so I can try out one of the patio tables.”

“Cute place. Love the outdoor dining. Service was great too. We ordered the Island Fever pizza. It was different. I've never had a pizza with cashews before. It was fresh, but crust was a bit tough. I'd definitely give them another try.”

“I’m just gonna start mentioning how friendly the staff were. How clean the tables and restaurant were and just a comfy feel to this Que stop in Dripping Springs. Operates mostly as a “build your own” which is total up to you. No planned plates and sides here. Pick your meats, choose your sides, and grab your beverage. We did turkey and pulled pork along with an impressive baked potato (which was topped with the pulled pork at the table) along with some vinegar dressed chopped slaw. We also sampled the Baked Potato Salad (honestly I should have switched to this) as it was warm and packed with flavor. Owner also delivered us a Piggy Tail or two yo sample. Wow, sweet goodness here! Take a slab of that on top of a maple frosted cream stick and you are gonna beg for seconds. Worth the stop, filled a huge empty spot for the long drive home. We will be back.”

“I had the lemon ricotta pancakes, it was beautifully delicious and was great. The atmosphere was too loud for me though. 8/10, would come again. A family member had Salmon Eggs Benedict, liked it, but their serving size may be too small for some people, another had Al Pastor Hash and described it as having "good flavor".”

“This place is awesome and I used to go every friday but ran out of time! Great food and the tea is great.”

“Just like everything here in Drip, the people are great and friendly, and the food is classic. They have the BEST chicken & dumplings during the winter! Have to hit there early or they seem to run out every day. How much better can a review be that they run out before the day ends? Chicken & dumps are not a fast food item… and theirs have plenty of chicken with wonderful dumplings! And lots of gravy! YUM ! The other food is great year round, too. DQ is a very old standby from before “fast food,” was a thing. It has stood the test of time and is a classic.”

“Update: since my last post I decided to give this place a try for breakfast tacos. I’ve been successful at getting to order over the phone, just need to stay away from peak times. The breakfast tacos are really good and the price is very reasonable. Definitely recommend (just call ahead..and prepare to wait during peak times !). Prepare to wait. Tried ordering over the phone but the lines were busy. The website didn’t allow me to order either so I got there and waited almost an hour for food for 2 people. The cashiers were very friendly. I think the only thing I liked was that the flour tortillas were fresh and the chicken flautas were good. However, Everything lacked salt. The rest of the food was okay. Maybe I’ll have better luck next time.”

“I've been eating at one T-Cloud or another since I was in high school (and that was a long time ago - mid eighties). No-frills casual lunch (or dinner) stop for high-quality and fresh ingredients. They will make your sandwich to order and do so quickly. It's just an Austin institution and has been successful by sticking to the same model year after year - great sandwiches at a great price. Plus, there is always good music on while you wait or while you eat. It ain't the Four Seasons, so don't go in there with your fancy-pants attitude and you'll be fine. I'll feely admit to being a little bit of a homer for Austin businesses but these sandwiches are just better than the national chain competition - by a lot. Austin's original and one-of-a-kind!”
