“i was pulled over because i got caught in the dark with blown headlight bulbs. it was an unfortunate situation due to my idiocy and the recent transition to daylight savings. i had to use my emergency blinkers to be visible, but visibility of the road was a problem... officer pulled me over, allowed me to explain my situation, and offered to escort me to the nearest auto shop to buy and install new bulbs. i think in most situations, i would've been punished with a ticket or worse. but in this case the officer actually helped. much thanks officer. i'm very grateful for your service”

“Our previous rehearsal dinner plans feel through, so I had to scramble. Hill Country Tasting Room was one of the first to respond to my email. Their prices were super competitive, and the pictures of the space looked perfect. Deepa communicated with me throughout the process and even let us come in early to decorate. The photos do not do this space justice. It is absolutely adorable, with an outdoor patio and a balcony area inside. We had about 50 people all inside because of the weather and it did not feel crowded. The drinks (we got the all-inclusive package) were delicious, and the bartenders (Jacky, Karen and Neil) were wonderful. Jacky even helped us decorate earlier in the day. I can't recommend this little gem enough! You won't regret booking here!”

“First: our server went above and beyond. He brought me a special green salsa to try with the meal. The starter chips were amazing!!! As was the salsa that was served with them. The server brought enough chips for our large party of 6. I was served great tasting coffee from a fresh pot. They served us large sized portions, all dishes were very tasty. This establishment is well known with the locals. Now, the non locals need to make their way here too!”
