There were trees that provided shade, but none were over the camp sites, so there was nowhere to hide from the sun. But overall, my trip there was fun.”

“Today we stopped by for the first time and we will for sure be back! I got the Fajita Burrito and it was perfect! Gilberto has great customer service, i can tell he really cares! He had the biggest smile when i told him the food was amazing 😃 Don’t hesitate to give this place a try! The green sauce was mild, the red sauce is spicy (whichever you prefer), the meat was tender and flavorful! My husband liked it and he’s the biggest critic so that means this place is good! We have family coming from out of state to visit soon and i will be proud to take them here to experience a great Mexican Food Truck.”

“I drove in from Wimberley to San Marcos to do some shopping and decided to do an early lunch. I have never been to Taqueria Mazatlan but it looked pretty popular with all the cars around it so I pulled in. The place is fairly nice on the inside and everyone was really friendly. They have a buffet with plenty of food but I wanted to try there Huevo Rancheros so I sat at a table and had the cutest little waitress bring me a cup of coffee and a menu as soon as I sat down. She may have been small but she has the biggest smile ever..;) This is the second place in San Marcos that had the Rancheros sauce on the side in a separate container. Maybe it's the new thing. Anyway, the food came fast and there were plenty of potatoes and a couple of slices of bacon with refried beans. Also, come with 3 different sautes and chips. The beans were a little grease for me and the chips were a little harder than I like, but the price was under 7 dollars and you gotta love that. One other point of interest, that's the first bathroom I've ever been in that has ceiling fans..)”

“Anyone over 40 likely knows the drama of Covid gray. Well I decided to lean into it but with some help. Kaylie did an amazing job of blending my quickly-spreading silver hair with my natural dark brown. She expertly added highlights and low lights so that I can ease gently into the silver. She was super professional and attention to detail was superb. And what a beautiful little shop in which to enjoy the experience (even with us all masked up and hand sanitizing!).”

“We stayed in the sunflower ridge cabin in San Marcos. The views are amazing and it’s very quiet and peaceful out there. The hot tub is why we chose this cabin, we did have issues with it turning off every 5 minutes but outside of that we really enjoyed it. I will warn you the bedroom is loft style with a low ceiling so if you are tall this might not be the cabin for you. Overall loved the experience I would absolutely go back.”
