It's in a great location and they very promptly get you in and out for your appointments each time, and with great consideration for proper social distancing and COVID precaution procedures. After two years recovering from Bell's Palsy on my own without health insurance, I still had only almost 90% of movement back on the right-hand side of my face and people were still looking at me weird and with pity at my now 'crooked smile.' Plus, the lack of movement and control over my right eye greatly interfered with my vision and made my work difficult. Once I obtained health insurance again, I thought I should see what could possibly be done and was referred to physical therapy with little hope that anything would work after all this time. After just a few weeks working with the AWESOME Dr. Ashley Stagni and her brilliantly targeted therapy, I now have my smile 100% back!!!! From day one, she seemed to immediately understand me, what I'd been going through, and to see what needed to be addressed. “Being able to access my storage is quick and easy. I like the fact you have your own code to put in to enter and exit this way if anything happens they can identify. The storage area is always clean inside and out. Had a personal issue and the Mgr Slater was very quick to return my call and resolve my issue. “Deer Creek of Wimberley has been a home away from home for my mom for the last year. Prior to this, she had stayed at Deer Creek for therapy, several times. My father had stayed at Deer Creek after a broken hip and later with other medical issues. All this to say that our family has spent a lot of time here through the years. Whenever I have had a concern or question, they have promptly helped. Bo, who is head of therapy, has been a Godsend. She is knowledgeable, professional, and caring, as are the other therapists. The staff of nurses and care attendants meet my mom's needs with gentleness and promptness. The director of Deer Creek, is one of the most caring people I know. She greets my mom and I with hugs, and always asks if there is anything we need or anything she can do to help. It's a hard decision, as to where we let our loved ones stay for therapy, or for a residence, but the staff at Deer Creek of Wimberley has proven over and over that they are professional and caring, which are the two things that I want for my mom. My mom has gained weight, is stronger, is involved in the many daily activities available, and simply put, is flourishing. Deer Creek has been a blessing to my mom and to our family.”
