“We ate dinner here yesterday, the first time for both. Hubby had the Stromboli. I had the Chicken Florentine. Our waitress was friendly, quick and seemed knowledgeable about the menu. She made several recommendations; my entree being one of them. We enjoyed our meals and the bread that was served when we sat down. The salads were a little droopy (brown lettuce, old looking) but the ranch dressing was very good. The restaurant was clean, restrooms were clean, and table location comfortable. We ordered as mentioned above, hubby ordered a house salad (mine came with my meal), I ordered a side of Italian sausage, and we both had tea. Our bill was $40.55. We figured $20/person for dinner was not bad at all. We will eat here again. Maybe try the pizza. 😋”

“Cute restaurant out in nowhere, really. Ordered the slice brisket sandwich with onion rings and my husband ordered the catfish basket with red veans and seasoned fries. Sandwich is on homemade sourdough bread, made locally. Met the owner. Great guy. He makes a special tarter sauce, secret ingredient that was awesome 👌 He explained the process for the catfish he buys that gives it a clean great taste. We ate outside but they have an air-conditioned room also. Really good BBQ, sauce was good and the bread was to die for . Great choice if you eat here”

Considering it's in a small STX town these folks are booming. Others that close at 2pm and 5pm need new management for sure. Id love to see these folks books I bet they are through the roof in profit:) Way to go folks 👍 and you always have a surprise. Your Caldo de Pollo was through the roof with flavor. The half chicken plate with mixed veggies and rice "Rocks" super tender chicken and the flavor was enormous. I wish I had another week to work this area so I could enjoy more. Permently faved destination ⭐ 📍 star pinned. hint: if your 20-30 mins away take that nice drive in the country and save on fast food for real food :) Thanks folks "Best Laredo Taco Ever".”

“My husband and I have been coming here since they opened. Always great food. But tonight was excellent. We brought our visiting children and grandchildren. Ten of us and instead of making us buy ten plates they went above and beyond to get together a family style dinner with a huge pan of rice, Beans, cream corn and potato salad all the fixings. Two Turkey legs, Ribs, Brisket, sausage and Chicken. We had so much food. The taste was amazing as usual. My son kept saying the rice is good but these Beans!!! They are amazing. The meat was so tender and the BBQ sauce was great. And the price was great for all we got. The little one was screaming for Orange chips. LOL. All of a sudden he's quite because they went and got him yellow chips AKA Cheetos. Didn't charge us. What great people. Kept refilling our tea. They had a swing set for the kids and they encouraged them to use it. What friendly people. Thank you so very much.”

The ceiling tiles are almost all water-stained, and the restrooms, while appearing clean stunk of sewage. These things indicate that the staff are doing their jobs, but the franchisee and/or corporate have dropped the ball. You have great employees. Get your act together.”
