“I truly do not have words to express my deepest appreciation to all the precious people that work at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. The funeral home is operated with such a small town personal and warm feel and nothing like the awful experience we had with a large, corporate owned and operated funeral home and cemetery where my mother was buried. Brandon and the entire staff were such a blessing to our family at a time of great loss when my mother passed away. Brandon was called by the inpatient hospice center at 2:30am the night my mother passed. We had not done any sort of prefuneral planning but knew we wanted to use Mountain Valley. To be so pleasant, comforting, and reassuring when Brandon called me after being woken up in the middle of the night says huge amounts about one's character and the companies ethics. Every need we had was met, every question we had was answered, every fear and worry we had was soothed and addressed. Thank you for taking such wonderful and loving care of my sweet momma as well as each of our family members. Everything was beautiful from the service we had in the chapel to my mother's dress and appearance. May God bless each of these people for the work they provide to families in times of deepest sorrow.”

When you have to clean the chain and the pit under it...you would understand why most attendants won't let mud caked trucks and debris in the bed go through. So if it's shut down for cleaning be kind because all the mud and debris will break the wash down.”

“Stopped in on a recent trip to Oklahoma for a restroom break for me and my dog. My wife went to exit our vehicle however she slipped and fell in the parking lot, the clerk, I wish I had gotten her name, came out to see what happened along with several of the customers, sorry no names as well, I was walking the dog and immediately they called me to the scene. The clerk attended to my dog while myself and a very appreciated young man in uniform helped my wife up. After the accident occurred we thanked everyone for the help and assured the clerk that everything was fine and she was ok. In this difficult time you never know how to act or approach people who are in need, this lady not only offered her a bottle of water but she told her to be careful and asked again if she was going to be ok. She told us to have a safe trip and we continued our journey. I only wish I had gotten her name, but to the wonderful and very much appreciated lady who was working Friday morning around 10 am January 15,2021 thank you very much for your response to this situation and thank you for your concern and compassion you expressed to my wife. To the owner and manager of this store, you have a very good employee who not only cares about her job and the customers who stop here she cares about the people!
