“Vizo's made the top 100 list in the country for restaurants and there's a good reason. The African food is wonderful. While the atmosphere is pretty bare and there was only one waiter, the meal was worth it. I went for lunch with a friend and had the liver, some rice, and the meat pie. The liver was some of the best I've ever had, spicy, moist, almost tender enough to cut it with a fork. The meat pie was a bit dry; I wish there was a sauce but it was still excellent. And the meals around me looked great. Just great. I will be back, and I recommend everyone trying the place. We are fortunate to have such a great restaurant in Lubbock.”

“I was amazed! I guessed I looked lost or that's just the way they are trained. They asked me if it was my first time and I said yes. They offered a small sample and explained their menu. Simple but delicious. Perfect for a quick bite. Server very helpful, clean, cafeteria vibes but also comfort. Can't go wrong with any menu choice you get and BBQ Sauce as well. Definitely stopping by if I'm ever in town again.”
