“I went here with my brother, he ordered a bean and cheese, I ordered a bacon and egg. I would have had potato too if I had more money. At the time I went here, It was going to close at 2 PM. I noticed that It's 3PM now (On Saturday it closed at 1PM) Now for the review, when I got in, It was not the cleanest plates. But the tables had napkins, salt and pepper. And the tables were wiped. The bacon and egg was really good and really filling, I suggest adding salt to it. I can't really speak for the other menu items but If you're looking for a great breakfast to start the day, come here! I could feel the flour on the tortillas, I could tell that they were made in the store I believe. The only thing I would suggest is that you raise the hours, but from what I can tell, you are! Very satisfied with the breakfast I had that day. :) Service is also great as when I walked in, I was greeted by a smile.”

“I used to come here as a kid over 15 years ago, it's still just as good as it was then! Good food, friendly and incredibly helpful staff, local "Mom & Pop" diner atmosphere vibe. Some of the dishes weren't exactly my favorite but hey, that's just their recipe. Can't really complain when there were so many other dishes to choose from. All you can eat steak, nachos, tacos, macaroni and cheese, green beans, mashed potatoes, grilled chicken, pork chops, salad bar, all you can eat pie, cake and ice cream. There's so many choices, you're bound to find something you like. They even have a breakfast buffet from 8am to 11am on weekends!”

“My husband and I have eaten here several times in the last few years. It is clean, the service is friendly, and the food is delicious. I usually order the house salad with a side of meatballs. The house salad comes with a garlic bread that is out of this world, dripping in olive oil and seasonings. If you like bread, it is a must try. The meatballs are huge, seasoned well, and a great texture. I have had them with pasta, but they are just as good on their own. My husband likes their baked pastas or pizzas. Their tiramisu is also very yummy! The interior and atmosphere is modern and colorful with seating styles for everyone (bar top, bench/booth, or table). The owner is friendly and always checks on you during your meal, which I think is a nice touch.”

Many of you have been loyal customers to us ever since we opened back in October of 2013. We thank you for your continued patronage and we’ve enjoyed getting to know many of you. We finished the end of our 5 year lease last October. Since then, we’ve been month to month tenants while searching for somebody who wanted to buy/take over the store from us. As month to month tenants, our rent increased significantly (150% of prior rent) and has caused severe cash flow issues for us. It has finally reached a point where we cannot keep putting more money into the store without having somebody negotiate a new lease and takeover the store. It has been the greatest adventure and honor of my life to serve all of you the last 6 + years. I will miss this almost as much as I’ll miss the Herb Chicken Mediterranean. “A friend recommended La Unica to us for the tortillas and since we were in Conroe for other business we decided to stop by. We didn't know they served lunch, but since it was lunchtime when we got there we decided to go for it. Glad we did. The food was really good, the portions were big, and las señoras were very friendly and helpful. They were so gracious to work with my Duolingo-based Spanish! Since we were the only ones having lunch at that time I told my wife I felt like we were sitting there having lunch in their home kitchen. It was a very nice change to the pretentious Mexican food and decorations found at just about every so-called Mexican restaurant anywhere, especially the big chains. We will return, even though it will require a drive from our home in The Woodlands.”
