“Canopied trail is awesome biking or walking in the shade no matter the weather. A small amount of rain causes flooding at the 157 entrance easily and frequently during spring and fall.”

“It's a natural area in the center of the DFW metroplex. Not a long hike. Maybe a 1/4 mile or less. But natural Texas.”

“I really loved this part of the park because it had a number of perfect qualifiers that together made for a great time with friends. Right above you while you eat or play games is a super big canopy with a large amount of shade. Behind you is, what I particularly liked, the open green field. The field was covered in thick and mowed grass. It gave us the option to play all sorts of fun stuff; frisbee throwing, Ultimate frisbee, lots of outside games, football, etc. To top things off, to the right was a good sized grill for anything your heart desires to cook. Wow. Great experience, great time!”

“We really enjoyed the Discovery Room portion of this science center. The Discovery Room is a paid activity $3 for kids, $4 for adults and teenagers, and $5 for Seniors. Definitely worth the price. The Discovery Room is not huge, but practically everything inside it is interactive, very well done, and appealing to kids. My kids are 3 and 6 and were well entertained with the many available educational activities until they started to get hungry about an hour and a half after we arrived.”

“There's something for everyone here! A playground, pinic tables, soccer field, baseball field, restrooms, large parking lot, AND a dirt bike course with awesome hills and dips, curves, the works! Totally maintained by zealous volunteers! Lits of woods and walking trails. You will have a good time!”
