“I rarely take the time to post a review. I always have good intentions but I let life get in the way and I forget. Today is not the case. I have been coming to this campground for years as it is so well maintained and managed. But what really keeps me coming back are the hosts. In particular this last year, Lee and Rich. They have been amazing! They go out of their way to ensure my stay here at the Vineyards is memorable. I just wanted to take the time to say thank you to Lee and Rich and the entire staff at the Vineyards. I will be spreading the word!!! Grateful….”

“We followed Dr.Melissa all the way from the Haltom based clinic. We love her so much. My kids are not very comfortable with too many adults but they love her. Her team of professionals make our doctor visits quick and comfortable. They are so sweet and so helpful.”

“I’ve stayed in quite a few Hyatt Place hotels these past few months so I’m basing my ratings on comparisons with those. While the room is great, the bathroom was dismal. There was absolutely no where to stand in the shower/toilet room. The door took up the entire area. In two of my pics you can see the door actually touching the shower stall and then the toilet. They definitely should switch to pocket doors here or just redo the bathrooms. The staff was very friendly and the hotel is in a good location. Free parking doesn’t hurt either!”

“Rooms were exceptionally clean for the price. Staff was excellent. Font believe bad reviews. The price for amenities match. But staff goes above and beyond. Both the management and front desk were excellent. Definitely a shining spot amongst inexpensive hotels. Highly recommend over anything that's comparable! 5 stars”

“This was one of the best places me and my wife have stayed at, from the room to the service. The shuttle takes you within 5miles of the hotel and all the staff are amazing and during covid it was great. More than five stars.”

“If anyone out there is looking for good deals for hotels check ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ made a reservation for a hotel on there and they had the lowest prices anywhere! Super fun place. Great caring staff and lots of super fun slides. And the wave pool and lazy river were really nice. Much fun was had for sure. And super loved the decor all through the place.”

“I called and asked that my two rooms be placed side by side. The receptionist said she was able to place us as requested. When we got there it was taken care of. We were treated by two of the sweetest receptionist. They told us what was available locally to do. I usually stay at Embassy Suites. This is going to be my new home away from home when I am in this area. The hotel staff was amazing all around. The restaurant was clean. The breakfast was hot, fresh, and tasted great. Every time you pull up someone comes out to greet you and see if you need help. Our rooms were cleaned everyday. I have spent more than 20 nights in hotels in 2019. This was the cleanest and had a class act of a staff. They should give a class on hospitality. I have stayed in other DFW hotels, DC, Virginia, Vegas and, NY this year just to put things into prospective. This place is one of a kind.”

“My review is just for the atrium and "river" area. This is SUCH a cool place! there are a couple model trains and trolleys operating over done fairly large areas, very well done and really cool to look at. The rock formations and water decorations are really cool to watch. You could almost just pull up a chair and relax here. The river area is lit, dimly but still plenty bright, which makes a great relaxing mood to go skiing with the sounds of the water flowing. There's a really cool water geyser that looks like it shoots up almost to the ceiling. I'm estimating height (poorly) around 8 stories, beef in the guest room floors I could count, plus the main and lower level we viewed it from. There's also a mini oil derrick (?) tower, inside again, that reaches from the ground level to almost the ceiling. The whole area is really cool. If I get to visit the area again I may try to book a room here! ????”

“Very nice modern establishment. All the staff was nice and very helpful. They have a bistro which is convenient but a little pricey. There wasn't an iron in the room but I guess you could ask for one if needed. Lots of lounging areas, even one outside with a fire pit. Large pool that is colorfully lit at night. I would recommend the hotel!!”

“Had a lovely night at the Embassy Suites. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast was great. They have a balloon lady on Saturday mornings making balloons for the kids. She was very creative. That was such an unexpected treat for the kids. The smallest details make the best experiences.”

“Spent one night before a flight. Very close to rental car return at the south end of the airport. The gas station was on the direct path to the rental car return. Had to leave before breakfast to catch a flight so we grabbed a bag to go. The apple in it was fresh and crunchy, which is not typical.”

“This place is chill. They are starting to remodel and that’s cool because we get to have beautiful, new rooms to stay in. I certainly hope this generation of entitled people will treat them nicely. The rooms are bare bones and that’s perfect for me. I don’t need to pay the extra 20-30$ for a coffee maker I’ll never use and a blow dryer that will collect dust. The front desk ladies are awesome!! Well, the younger ones are. They are funny and engaging. They are helpful and seem to actually remember who you are and genuinely care about your return business. Honestly though, and I don’t mean to be snarky, but the two older ladies should think about retiring. The older overnight lady is flat out rude, she takes forever to do her job, if she does it at all. (I’ve had to wake her up once, so it’s probably not the first time). The other older lady (who works the day shift since the place opened in 1972) is getting just as bad. Every time I walk in the lobby she’s sitting down in the chair and it seems to me that she might be happier doing something where she doesn’t have to bothered to stand up. I wish they had the pool open, but I probably wouldn’t swim anyway if I’m being honest, because I don’t swim in any public pools. I just like hanging on the patio in the sun. It’s really convenient that they accept dogs and terribly inconvenient that the guests don’t pick up after their own animals. The dog poop is gross. I completely understand this is not the motel’s fault and it is solely the lazy dog owners lack of respect. I stay here when I’m driving through because it’s located right off the highway and it’s surrounded by a plethora of places to eat. Although, Council Bluffs in general isn’t a tourist destination, the places to see are all really close. I will continue to stay here and look forward to the new look of the rooms! And, maybe fresh faces at the desk?”
