I started working out at CrossFit Cabra 6 months ago. Before CrossFit I was always reluctant to do weights. But at CrossFit Cabra you don’t feel intimated by the exercises. Lauren and Marc are the best coaches! They modify the workouts to my abilities and are very supportive and encouraging. Joining was one of the best decisions I made.
What a wonderful experience I had dropping in at CrossFit Cabra. I was in town for business and stopped in and was welcomed with open arms. Lauren and Marc are really great people and coaches. I loved the workouts and all the members were warm and friendly. If you’re looking for a really chill crossfit environment with good people this is the place for you! (I also got to meet baby goats after class. win win!) Thanks for the hospitality and making my work trip awesome.
This is great gym! Super accommodating, everyone is super friendly and made dropping in a breeze. They have jerk blocks, ropes, rings, and plenty of bars. Whether beginner or experienced athlete I would definitely feel welcome there!
I was a member of a few other CrossFit gyms in the area and drop in at several gyms across Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma and have found a place I’m proud to call my home gym.
Lauren, Marc, and Jacob (coaches) are passionate about the members and want only the best for them. They are extremely knowledgeable and help each member with their sticking points with suggested progression exercises as well as an open gym to spend more time working on the exercises. In addition to phenomenal programming, they offer members customized nutrition programs and steps to living a more healthy lifestyle.
The community is welcoming and encouraging. The atmosphere provides a fun and a competitive class that’ll push you to be better than yesterday.
I had a lot of preconceived notions about CrossFit going in. I only planned to stay for the six week challenge, and then go back to my regular gym. But, I got hooked. I really enjoy the intensity of the workouts, and how rounded my fitness has become. Lauren does a great job of teaching the movements, and coaching you throughout. Lauren has built a great community of members of all abilities who are accepting of absolutely anyone. This gym works well for high performing athletes and beginners and all in between.
