“My wife, daughter and I wanted to get certified for PADI Open Water Diving for an upcoming trip. However, my daughter is a high school student, a volunteer firefighter and extremely active at church. I was afraid that working around her schedule would be a problem. This was reaffirmed when I called a few local scuba shops. However, Bruce was able to work around our schedule and get us certified quickly. Our class size was small and the instruction was top notch. Bruce is a great teacher and is extremely patient. My wife had some reservations about performing some of the skills and Bruce was always reassuring and gave her the time that she needed to complete the task which helped to boost her confidence. I'd highly recommend Bruce for the Basic Open Water Diver Course and will be using him for future certifications.”

“The environment Mrs. Kurvilla has created is more than just a school, it is a second home! It has such a cozy feel and she is incredibly loving, patient, and understanding with all the children. She understands the core standards and other tests that the children will encounter in the future and finds creative ways to teach each child to their own unique learning style. My son was 3 (preschool) when they were working on sight words, mastery of letters/sounds (my son knew a handful at the beginning of the year and knew over half with all letters/sounds/writing), math (counting, adding, recognition), and many other hands on activities that tied into practical learning. They do many arts and crafts and work on skills that help children focus on the task in front of them. She prepares the children both emotionally and socially as well. Discipline is not harsh and a child is not labeled as “bad.” Children are taught to understand why they are doing what they are doing and redirected towards positive behavior. Another aspect that is important to me is time outside! If its a nice day they might spend a little extra time outside. They connect nature and garden with the children. My son came home so happy and relaxed. If this school went into elementary I would be sending my children there.”

“I graduated from here in 2014. Considering how much we went through, you guys are probably gonna have an easy ride (maybe). I love the Fine Arts department there. Even though the teachers I had are gone, doesn't mean that it isn't great. I bet they got another great teacher to do theatre now. But overall, I loved it. My sister went to school there, I went to school there, and I hope one day I will have my kids there too.”

“JKSA is an amazing school, but most of the bad reviews under the rating are meant for the school next to it, Wester. Now I don't know what it's like at Wester, but I do know that JKSA it a much better school then the other reviews make it seem. I am currently a student there, and I can confirm that it is completely sanity, the teachers are great along with being some of the nicest I've ever known, and we get to work on things at our own pace instead of all learning at the same time and moving to the next subject quickly, even if a few don't understand. 10/10, Highly recommend.”
