I’ve always had a fear of the dentist and my mind was put at ease thanks to my hygienist (whose name I can’t remember unfortunately) and Dr. Kate. They were able to very clearly explain what’s going on in my mouth and recommend ways to move forward. I left with important knowledge on how to better care for my teeth and gums and a wonderfully clean mouth with virtually no pain (which is a rarity in my dental experiences). “I love this place. I've been going here for about 3 years, and I love my therapist. I was in the dbt group therapy for teens on and off for about 1-2 years, and it was super helpful with helping me open up and feel validated in the experiences other teens were having too. The staff is really good about sticking to the proven DBT methodes, while still including information and care specific to the patient. I've noticed the most improvement with Austin DBT Associates compared to any other places I've been to in my 7 years of trying therapies. With quarentine they've also offered online therapy sessions, which ill admit is a bit more awkward than in person sessions, but has been essential to maintaining my sanity during these crazy times. I have sessions weekly, and I really feel my therapist understand me and has given me so much support through the years. She has been super adaptable to my shedule and is always working hard to give me the care I need. It's super hard to find a therapist that works for you, but I genuinely feel I've found the right fit here. Shout out to Leigh Ann Bryan, please give this woman a raise.”

“We can't say enough positive things about everyone at this clinic. Our child sees Dr. Shepard, who did his ear tube surgery. The doctor is very professional, knowledgeable, and also friendly with my one year old son. The surgery also went very well. The nurse (or maybe NP), Katrina, is super sweet and helpful. When my child was upset she sang the Wheels on the Bus to him and helped him calm down. The audiologist is the same way - very friendly and nice to our child. I've had to call the office a few times for follow-up care stuff and I never feel like we are bothering them. They treat us like we are their only patients. We've also never had to wait a long time in the office, everyone has been super prompt. Importantly, in our experience when they've needed to ask the doctor a follow up question Katrina calls us back the same day, usually within a few hours. This hasn't been our experience with some other doctors elsewhere, so we are so grateful to have found a doctor and clinic staff that is so friendly and courteous and responsive to our needs. Also, for our first appointment we were able to get in within 10 days (which was faster than other ENT places I called). Knowledgeable, friendly, and prompt - I don't know what else you could ask from a doctor and their staff. We would recommend this office to anyone and everyone!”

The only things I didn't like were the use of latex gloves and the facility needs some decoration to give it some warmth. A few salt lamps and some nice traditional artwork on the bare walls would help. Glad to see more reflexology in South Austin.”
