“Only had limited interaction here with a funeral of a family member. The pastor was kind and welcoming with words to soothe your heart. The building was beautiful and spacious. Parking lot was huge but this is Austin so it may not be big enough. If their weekly religious service is anything like their funeral services I would attend every week. Plus the stain glass along with the history of this church is enough to warrant a visit.”

“My favorite movie theater in Austin (besides Paramount). Why? Because it’s clean. Thank you, whoever is in charge of that! I really appreciate the attention to detail here. The design is also Art Deco and stunning. They keep the a/c running at a comfortable, cool temperature during the hot months, the bulbs on the projectors are bright, the beer taps are cold and the seats are comfortable even though it’s not stadium recliners. My only beef is that a couple of years ago, Regal went Pepsi exclusive and now you can’t get anything resembling Dr. Pepper like Mr. Pibb which is the ONLY cola flavor to pair with red licorice.”

“I came to Austin in 2017 and the group leader from my previous fellowship (evangelical church) recommended me TCA. I've been at TCA ever since for 2 years now. I've experienced God's work in this church and His mercy and grace for SO many times. He touched my heart. At first, I was a little hesitated since I came and grew up in evangelical churches, but I don't feel like hopping around churches to find the "best" one either. So I stayed. Over time, the pastors remind me the image in Matthew 5, whom are hunger and thirst for righteousness, pure in heart, and peacemakers. They put God first, they seek and listen to the Holy Spirit, instead of acting on their own. This doesn’t mean the pastors care less about His words. Both are equally important. I remember once in a Sunday sermon, it was about Isaiah 40:31, in order to soar on wings like eagles, we need to prepare ourselves with both His Holy Spirit and His Words, just like the eagles need both wings to soar. Thank you Father, for taking me here, touching my heart, and transforming me by renewing of my mind.”
