“Large, well maintained and they have a community garden! These pics show a trail through a wooden area going from the park to the west edge. We stopped for a break and saw many students walk through. We were recharged on whatever trees do for humans, happy and at peace”

“This place was amazing we went for father's day and had a blast fishing the river! the scenery was beautiful, the park was really clean other than a few coke bottles and small amounts of fishing line (we picked it up and threw it away). Other than that just seen a lot of happy, smiling, friendly people and their happy dogs, will be definitely going back no questions about that.”

“This is a relatively short trail in Austin. However good things come in small sizes. I'd recommend going early morning to avoid the sun. Also you can watch a sunrise along the Austin skyline.”

“This is a small park, good to go and read on one of the benches. People walk their dogs here or exercise in the open grass area. It also has a nice artistic wall.”

“Fantastic RV park! So thrilled that they had an opening this time of year. It is clean, every part of the grounds. Very quiet and well maintained. Near a convenience store which was perfect for some quick essentials. Laundry room is clean and spacious with working machines. Excellent, friendly staff. Cant say enough good things--only downfall for me is that this cute park need more larger trees....but hey it is a newer park, we're in a great location and only 10 minutes to Downtown.”

“McKinney Falls State Park was one of the more lengthy hikes for me hitting up the two big trails: Onion Creek (2.8 miles) and Homestead Trail (3.1 miles) along with other trails too. There were a lot of people at the Upper and Lower Falls where you can swim in the water, but I didn’t have anyone on the trails with me! Between hikes I hopped into the Upper Falls for a refreshing dip. McKinney Falls is right by the airport so not far from Austin. To get to the northern portion of trails, you will have to cross over the falls. You will get wet! The rocks are slick, especially barefoot. I’d recommend bringing some shoes with grip to change into, or just wear throughout if they are good hiking shoes. Nice relaxing place!”

“I had hernia surgery yesterday and the staff made me feel so comfortable. From the moment I walked in to being wheeled out to the car. Everyone made me feel safe and in good hands. And I can't leave out my Dr. Dr MacDonald. He is the best. I hope to never have surgery again. But if I do...I'm coming here.”

“Fantastic hike that's just under 3 miles to Copperfield Park and back. There is no loop, rather the hike is shaped like a "U." We took the Trotwood entrance. Be sure to respect where you park because this is literally a residential area. There are multiple entrances like Byers or even at Copperfield Park itself. There are no trash cans except when you get to the park, so pack it in and pack it out. There is access to some water throughout, and the trails are mainly pretty muddy or sandy...so post-rainy hikes will be messy. Dogs must be on-leash, but I did see some dogs off-leash throughout the hike. It's a fabulously shaded hike that the dogs, kids and families will love.”

“We take our husky here to walk and it is always a great walk with plenty of smaller trails to dip off to the water when you need a cool break. There is plenty of shaded areas around the park and tons of squirrels to keep your pooch occupied. Throughout the day it hasn't been crowded at all and a must visit if you need a comfortable walk while social distancing.”
