The kitchen staff could be friendlier. But they are nice enough. They want to move quick so don't hold up the line... Be decisive when it's you turn to order. The ready to grab sandwich meals and tamal are basic but convenient. Other than that expect a normal ethic grocery store experience.”

“My favorite nail salon in Austin!!! I’ve been living in Austin since 2017 and I have exclusively been coming to Luxe Nails since then. It’s relatively close to the UT campus (about a 10 minute drive) on Burnet. I actually moved to South Austin and I STILL make the drive up to get my nails done here because I just don’t trust any other place. The first time I was a walk-in they were really busy, so I decided to come back the next day and I’m glad that I did because it was well worth it :) The best part about this salon is that I feel comfortable with whomever is doing my nails, like, all of them have been doing nails for a long time and they are all great at what they do. I’ve literally never had a bad experience here. The salon is always clean and sanitary, especially right now during COVID. I appreciate Luxe Nails so much!!!”

“I have lived here for at least two years, almost three. My experience has been a very good one. Keep in mind that peoples’ perspective can vary a lot. What I consider a good experience, another person may not, and vice versa. I do find the barking from the dog park to be very annoying. However, if you happen to love dogs, then I guess such a sound would feel like heaven. The maintenance has been pretty good. The apartment streets tend to look spotless. But there is often trash/spider webs in the stairwells and in hallways that are oddly neglected. Someone just needs to walk through the buildings once a month or something and clean out the stairwells with a broom. The staff has generally been very responsive to problems I have reported. However, they need to change the vendor they are working with regarding the gate system. The gate system has rarely worked in the time I have been here. For some reason, the management has been reluctant to acknowledge they need a very different solution. The same problem keeps happening, which is that lightning storms damage equipment that takes a long time to replace, or otherwise cause problems that take a long time to properly fix. For years, the management has been patching this up with the exact same band-aid that keeps peeling off after a few months. They must accept the fact it’s time to work with another company with different technology for the gate. The current vendor, friendly though they may be, has failed them. I have had no problems with pests, until very recently, but I think it’s because of the recent anomalous hot weather. In my experience, traditional pest deterrents (traps, bait, etc.) tend to work very well. Since placing bait, I’ve not had issues. I am confident the staff will help if traditional solutions do not appear to work. And so, if you are so unfortunate as to have to live in Texas, this place is one of your best bets.”

“Carpets look great but seemed a little wet at the end of the day. Emailed K&M, and received an immediate response from Ken himself. He drove out the following day to inspect the carpets. Most of the moisture had dissipated after running fans all night, but he left 3 high power blowers to unsure the carpets are completely dry. Ken also offered to come back to touch up a couple heavy traffic areas for us. I'm thrilled with Ken's responsiveness and the level of Customer Service both he and his crew provided.
