“After a long time being in Austin, I finally visited this place. It was beautiful. The water is very pretty and there were some fishes swimming close to the shore that was a good sight to look at. The grotto area hike and swimming is closed as of now. But there was hike to the river which was a good workout. The beach near the river is nice and the water is shallow and clear. Overall a good visit.”

“Incredible views. Frequented often and always found friendly and inviting families. Several areas for play and sports as well as an extended trail behind it. The neighborhood has the best steepest inclines for running. On my jogs/walks cool, eclectic homes and people are always nice. The 5 neighborhoods that make up this area are pretty peaceful. Lots of wildlife, including deer.”

“Rained yesterday so the waterfall is flowing nicely. As you follow the trail downstream, you will find numerous spots on the creek to relax. Visiting after a recent rain is recommended - but wear hiking shoes because the trail can get muddy. Overall this is an Austin gem, definitely recommend!”

“Peaceful place to relax and take in a short stroll in nature. Wear tennis shoes as it's quite rocky plus up and down rocks if you'd like to view the river and the beautiful homes along it. Easy for kids to so. Not very stroller friendly however along the trail. After a short hike, check out the garden (takes 10min or so) but really the draw are the gorgeous peacocks.”

Better be there early in the morning around 6 AM to await any waiting . There is no issue with parking , as the adjusent complex has got plenty of parking space.”
