“We got there at about 6:15, on a Friday night, so we had a bit of a wait. Party of 4. They offer drinks, play area, and live music in the area you wait in, so you have entertainment. The staff is great. The food is so good. And don't forget dessert 😉. I took pics of the small and large chicken fried steak, and the burger, forgot to get pics of the desserts. (The chicken fried steaks are on different sized plates. Definitely a difference!!) Parking does fill up, especially on the weekends!”

“This review is solely based on the Banana Cream Cake. It was delicious, I give props to them for this dessert. The second I put a spoonful in my mouth all I could taste was Banana Pudding. You know, the one that your mom or family member makes during the holidays with the vanilla wafers and sliced bananas. It tasted like that but it was a cold cake with whip cream on top. I have to learn this recipe because wow 🤩 😋 🤤.”

“I have heard a lot about Torchy's Tacos and on my way to Kalahari we saw it and decided to stop for lunch. I am so glad we did. Their tacos are amazing. They have a lot of flavor and spice. I was impressed with the corn. I really thought I would get it on the cob. It was spicy for my kids but I loved it. I got the brushfire while my husband got the trailer park. I loved my taco. Very impressed with the flavor. Definitely want to go back again.”

“This was a wonderful discovery on a visit in Round Rock. I tried stopping by a number of times, but their parking lot was full. Good sign of a great restaurant. When I made it there, I ordered pancakes to go. They were tremendous! They were packaged so carefully with foil to keep them warm (not thrown in Styrofoam and tossed at you). I loved that they were soft, huge, and flavorful. Next time I'm in the area I think I'll add fruit to them, although I did have a great conversation with an employee while I was there, and he has me thinking of some other delicious things to try!”

“Stopped in on Friday for lunch. We had a group of approximately 20 people. Service was prompt and attentive and we enjoyed the complimentary chips and salsa. Several of us enjoyed adult beverages including margaritas and a pina colada. The menu is extensive with many different kinds of Mexican foods, also there are weekday luncheon specials. I enjoyed the fajita salad, others had the lunch specials, and more... We were all pleased with our food which was provided promptly and served hot. The service was very good including getting us our checks in an organized and effective fashion. The restaurant offers indoor dining as well as dining outside, so there are plenty of choices.”

“I got the red pepper hummus with pretzels & cucumber slices!!! Wow. Mocha decafe with almond milk topped it off perfectly. Super friendly happy people here. Came highly recommended by friends. Since my first visit I've had many more coffees here. On this last visit, I ordered their yummy turkey pesto sandwich with my large mocha decaf coffee. 5 star delicious. My daughter and her young mommies group had a lot of fun at their Tuesday Trivia night. They rave about this place.”

“I ordered a large one half Hawaiian and half pepperoni with mushrooms. It was good. Tastes similar to the ones they serve at the Alamo Drafthouse. Crust was flavorful and firm, definitely not thin crust, but not fluffy. Peperonni thickness was thin. I ordered it with extra cheese, cheese was warm, soft, very tasty and satisfying, not too gooey and not too greasy. Sauce was salty and not too sweet or with weird flavors/afterflavors, just plain good pizza sauce. I do not know which style is it but didn't seem like a New York Style Pizza that has to be eaten like a taco, these slices were normal sized. It's decent. I'm glad I tried it, sometimes I get cravings for the Alamo Drafthouse pizzas so this will suffice for the next one. Cons: I ordered over the phone. Their service over the phone is not good. They didn't provide the total at the end of the call and just ended the call with an awkward "ok". Something like "we'll see you here in 15 minutes" would have worked. They also interrupted the process of taking the order to ask for name and phone number and then made me repeat the whole order. Need someone to coach then on call flows.”

“How is this place not packed like the restaurant across the street! Was at whataburger and ordered curbside pickup. 58 minutes later and 3 phone calls still no food brought to me. “First time at Mouton’s and certainly impressed! The portions are large and reasonably priced. I ordered the catfish jambalaya thinking it would be a small piece of catfish, it’s a complete fillet! Also comes with some shrimp étouffée on top. Wife got the New Orleans French toast, and the kiddo got a pancake. I also had the gator po boy, it was good, and I recommend, although tempted to try other shellfish options in the future. Oh yea don’t forget the Bourbon Street Bloody Mary! We ate outside which was nice, service was prompt and friendly. Overall highly recommend”

“Returning from the Fundamental 5 Conference, our team decided to stop here since we were not able to try the BBQ on the way to the conference. The restaurant is located inside of a strip mall next to a gym, talk about making you feel guilty, with plenty of parking. As you enter, you must place your order at the desk. The inside is big and very clean with large tables for a big group. The BBQ side bar has all the items you'd like pickles, onion, jalapeños, etc. I ordered the 3 meat plate ( ribs/brisket/sausage ) with okra & green beans. The brisket had a regular taste nothing great. The ribs were tender with a good smoke flavor and sausage was good. The green beans were truly a delicious side and okra crispy. The customer service was above average making the visit 4 stars and worth the stop at Georgetown. If you don't mind feeling guilty next to the gym, Pok-e-Jo's worth the visit.”
