“We love our experience with Goddard so far (2 months in). I was very anxious to make sure I picked out the best daycare school for our 14 month old son. I was spoiled to get to spend almost every day with him for 14 months and had parent guilt about sending him off to be under the care of people I did not know well. I looked at many options in the local area and Goddard stood out easily. My son is a mama's boy and still cries when I drop him off, but I get pictures sent to me within an hour of dropping him off that show him having fun / playing and it completely eases my worries every single day! Here are some other things I love about Goddard: the staff (Katy and Becca do an excellent job running the school and communicating with the parents - they have such a warm energy that makes leaving your kid under their care easy), the daily report (sent minutes after pick-up with a full recap of the day including nap info, food info, activity info, and additional notes and reminders for things your child may need the next time you come back), the bright colors used inside the school, the option for "make-up days" if your child misses a day due to travel or illness, the willingness of the staff to meet special needs for your child, and more. I am so thankful my sweet boy has a place to go where I know he is being well taken care of! We are due with our 2nd in November and plan to enroll that baby at Goddard as well.”

“Sunset has a wonderful staff who really cared about what my family and I needed, not what was best for their business. Due to the Covid regulations in place at that time and concerns over having people gather together For my mothers funeral Everything changed rapidly from day to day. Chris and Elizabeth were wonderfully patient and very supportive of whatever we thought was best. They really adapted well to our changing needs and have been in contact with help even now several months later. My heartfelt appreciation for them!”

“My experience with Tree of Life began when I lost my husband, Nathan. I took a tour of the facility, led by an exceptionally professional and informative guide (I wish I would have recorded the gentleman's name. I would . I had brainstormed a list of questions to ask, but found that simply through his unscripted description, they were quickly answered thoroughly. Nathan looked FANTASTIC. I could not have been happier (especially in such a tragic and emotional time). My interactions with the other staff members was exceptional. Down to EACH AND EVERY PERSON, I was treated with dignity, respect and compassion. The team took their jobs, and the ceremony, as any member of the family. I would recommend this funeral team to ANYONE who wants to lay their loved one to rest being supported and celebrated at every turn. Thank you, Tree of Life Funeral Directors. Nathan watched with pride.”

“I am so happy. I selected them mainly because they are the only business with a physical address, and I don't trust companies that don't. They were so kind, so helpful, so prompt in answering all my questions. My pet's marker is so beautiful. All my friends have praised it. I feel confident having done the right thing by my beautiful Rosie.”

“We were greeted with kindness and compassion from the moment we walked in. Our business here was not planned and probably for them that's most likely often the case. Nonetheless, they were professional and supportive and they gave us the guidance we needed to get through our loss. We feel comfortable coming back in the future when the time comes. We appreciate all the staff for making us feel like family through the entire process. Thanks again.”

“This is in response to Gracie Cruz's comments. I am a funeral director. I work for other funeral homes. If your father passed away in Nueces County it is the medical examiner's fault. He refuses to issue a permit to cremate in a timely manner. Mr. Limbaugh's hand were tied.”

“Wade did an beautiful job with my daughter's funeral. They were warm, caring, delicate and humble, while being knowledgeable, and helpful. They helped me with some decisions that were too difficult. Their chapel where the service was held was gorgeous. While funerals as a whole are very expensive, they were much more reasonable than another local funeral home I had looked into. The chapel was much nicer and they offered more services in their packages. Would highly recommend! While this would not change my 5 star rating, some recommendations for improvement are easier photo upload on the website. Some of the pictures uploaded came out sideways and upside down. Larger photo viewing on the site. It would also be nice to upload the photos for the funeral pictorial instead of bringing a thumb drive. And integrate all aspects of the funeral planning into one appointment, such as the layout of the handout and choosing the theme/background for the pictorial.”

“This is the best Insurance Agent period. I had my home insurance and my auto with 2 different companies trying to save money. I called Susan for a quote and not only I was able to save money , but I got better coverage and a life insurance policy to protect my family. I am having my friends and family review their insurance needs with Susan. She is the best. Thank you Susan”

“Owners Ashleigh and her father Gregg went above and beyond from the very start. Handling my father's sudden passing and the turmoil surrounding it was very difficult, but they helped to alleviate so much of that burden every step of the way. They quickly helped put together my father's memorial, expedited his portrait along with all of the other necessary memorial materials, and making sure everything was beautifully done. Their professional advice regarding the the entire process that one faces at this time was invaluable. As other complicating factors arose even after my father's memorial and cremation, they still jumped in without hesitation and continued to help until we were able to get everything finalized. They did far more than I ever expected. Their sensitivity, kindness, and can-do attitude is the real thing. Nothing they do ever had that "funeral home" feeling, didn't ever get any sales pitches or anything like that. They're just real people who know that they have an important job to do for their community. It was as if I had called up my friends who just happened to own a funeral home and asked if they could help me out. Finding them was a blessing, and choosing them was one of the best decisions I made.”
