“Last month my mom unexpectedly passed away. Naturally the family was in shock and had to plan the funeral. A family member recommended Bean -Massey -Burge Funeral home and I'm glad they did. The staff was amazing and patient with us. They were compassionate and walked us through all options. Justin was our primary contact and he was Amazing. We were there for hours discussing the necessities, and not once did he rush us or try and push us in one direction. The staff was wonderful, professional and caring. The viewing went by perfectly, and again the staff was there ready to help if we needed anything. They took care of my mom. They made sure the flowers got where they needed to be. When they took us home they provided a Beautiful box containing the notes from the flowers, the guest booklet, thank you cards, grieving pamphlets, and much more. I have to say there is not one thing I would change about the service provided by the funeral home. Seriously it was just the biggest comfort knowing mom was being taken care of, and we didn't have to worry about anything.”

“Its never easy burying a loved one especially if its your father, but Vazquez Funeral Home made the process much easier. We were expecting over 350 people the day of the viewing and They helped us make arrangements for more seating. We brought in extra chairs to fit in the extra room. They had no problem with us moving around and rearranging furniture. At the end of the night we had over 400 people attend. I really want to thank them for all they did and how the process was so easy even under difficult circumstances. The only mistake we had was with the police officers. We were scheduled to go to Forest Park (lawndale) but the police officers were guiding us the opposite way. We had to get next to the police officer and let them know because they seemed to be confused. At the end we did a U turn before getting to Beltway 8. Overall, everything came out great. Thank you for all your help during this difficult time.”

“Recently lost my father back in April. The funeral home was very courteous, kind and professional throughout the whole ordeal. We were able to have everything done at the funeral home in order to cut back on costs. Who knew having a funeral costed more than having a baby. I worked with several individuals, and everyone had the utmost respect for my family and me. The manager definitely showed what great leadership and what taking initiative meant. Over the last few days, my family and I were wondering where my father's headstone was, because it was taking longer than expected. Both Pete, Sarah and Sean were very helpful. Luckily the headstone arrived not too long after my initial email correspondence, and Sean even had the superintendent make my dad a priority. The headstone was placed the same day it arrived, and Sean even went out of his way to send me a photo of the placement. I truly appreciated everything the funeral home did for us.”

We moved to the greater San Antonio area to follow our daughter. My beloved husband began to spiral downward 1 month after we arrived, and died 2 months later. I was devastated and numb.
