“Not your normal trail ride!! Had a great morning ride with Ashley and Julia!! It was July and hot out, this outfit used light weight Aussi style saddles and tack that were MUCH cooler than the western tack I’m used to. Not a western style nose to trail ride!! Our group was free to explore and move at our own pace, unlike many trail rides where the horses just move nose to tail.The trail was cool and shaded, there were streams and rivers, beautiful scenery. If you enjoy horses and are looking for something different this would be a great day trip for a group even with different comfort and skill levels.”

Awesome service gave us all the information of the river and what to look for at the end of the trip. It was very relaxing seeing all the wild life animals and beautiful river homes. Went threw 3 rapids can’t wait to do this trip again. Pricing was reasonable for kayaks !”

“We spent the holiday weekend here at Log Cabins and it was a great experience! Our cabin was clean and well appointed. It was surprisingly quiet given how close we were to the water and the public boat ramp. The resort grounds were clean and quaint with plenty of bbq areas for us to relax outdoors with family and friends. The management staff responded quickly to any of our needs with a friendly smile! We will definitely be back in the near future! Thank y’all for being such great hosts!!”

“I was definitely skeptical about this place after reading reviews. We were 2 couples and staying for Wurstfest. We had a great time and thought the condo was perfect for our needs. Yes the place needs an update but I appreciate not having to pay $$$$$ for a decent place to stay. We all thought the place was extremely clean. Plenty of hot water with comfortable beds. We didn’t do any cooking but they did have a small coffee pot and a wine opener so what else could you ask for right?! Plus the shuttle to the festival was included in the price and was extremely convenient. The main resort had breakfast included but we had to get our fill of breakfast tacos so we didn’t try theirs. For Wurstfest this was a great option and highly recommend. I can’t imagine this to be a bad option in the summer. I don’t need luxurious accommodations to bring kids. They don’t care at all but my wallet is appreciative. The lack of a star for me is because parking spots are not assigned and we had issues with other guests one night. We only had one vehicle and other guests seemed to have several cars making us park out of the way.”

“I am I high schooler and have been riding here for about 10 years! I have two horses at the barn, and they both are so happy there. They can run around in grass turnouts and then come inside to a lovely, clean, spacious stable. I have made so many amazing memories and improved my riding and horsemanship with Merrily and Amy. With Quantum Hunters and Jumpers I have travelled to shows in Kentucky and local shows. With their help I also travelled to compete in an equitation final!! I love every second at the barn!”

“The manager here is a down to earth, family kind of guy. He educated us on the buildings & the process to have one delivered on our property. Simple process (straightforward deal) & nice quality buildings. Update 8/2019: We ended up getting an awesome red barn 16x10 from his lot. We do think its pretty great! Has a metal roof with high quality throughout, substantial doors. Has lofts & is solid. Has added to the value of our property & we no longer are paying the storage fee for a storage we had for over 10 years! The delivery guy in our case was a father son team & were able to get it in a smaller space using some awesome equipment. Pros... Thanks!”

“Had the most amazing experience at the Star Villa- Casa Clark, in Playa Flamingo. The ocean view, with perfect ocean temperature, and uncrowded beach accessibility with the private pool/jacuzzi waiting- is unbeatable. My family and I loved every minute of the house and scenery, and beach activities. We all got to disconnect from our busy lives, and reconnect as a family. Diego is the man. He organized everything so that our stay was carefree and comfortable. He arranged all of or activities smoothly and made sure we had a safe and friendly driver. He organized our catamaran sail, zip lining, chefs, massages, jet skis, grocery deliveries, and much more. I also highly recommend Hugo, the private chef. He is a phenomenal chef, making a variety of cuisines like: Sushi, Costa Rican, Extraordinary seafood dishes, tacos, kabobs, fresh salads/vegetables, fresh fruit, and more. His cooks/helpers were great as well! They all went above and beyond, catering to everyone’s preferences and were a joy to be around. He and Diego make the best team for any trip. Hugo + his staff and Diego were always punctual and attentive with the pura vida attitude. They made our stay feel like our home away from home and were like family. We all wished we could take them back home with us. Can’t wait for our next Star Villa experience!”
