“The River Haven is an absolutely beautiful piece of river front property, even in the off-season. My wife and I came upon this rental while searching for large and accommodating lodging for our massive wedding party and friends (30). The River Haven was able to provide everyone with their own room, space to relax and unwind, and easy travels around the area. The owners were absolutely on point with their communication as well (as we did have a small toilet issue). This is not a negative in any way, shape, or form though because they were 100% available to help us out and make sure we had the best wedding weekend! If you are looking for a relaxing spot by the Guadalupe River for a large-ish group, you must book this place!”

She cares for our children like her own during lessons & horse camp when we cannot always be present. She’s extremely patient and has a way of teaching that is amazing to watch. She’s so kind when she helps kids to grow adults understand how horses think and how we can connect with them. She has a gift and you will be glad you took the time to get lessons from her. A glass horse will always have my business and support. She’s worth every penny and you get what you pay for and more with Alex’s training.”

“Wow! We stayed here with our small dogs. The yard was huge and fenced in so there were no worries about our little ones getting out. We enjoyed spending the day in the above ground pool that was a perfect size. The hot tub sits on the porch beside the pool. The deck was nice and had a propane BBQ pit. Back yard had a hammock, picnic table and a fire pit with plenty of sitting! Inside was super clean and well stocked with pots, pans, coffee,...etc. they even had wiggle butt koozies for us to use and take home!! The Two bedrooms for super nice. All three beds for very comfortable. We got to chat with Dean who is super nice!! Short drive to the wineries around wimberley, and and even shorter drive to canyon lake. We will definitely be returning! Thank you, Dean and Holly!!”
