“We're down here camping in one of the 6 sites available although they just have water and electric connectivity. The sites are gravel and pretty flat although just as a warning if it's been raining much it's real marshy in the grass areas. Overall I'll say it's pretty nice, also a hidden benefit is this base has some parks and recreation areas that can be used while you're camping here. Not necessarily the best for young children but kids in grade school and up would not be totally bored. One enormous surprise was a fact that this base also raises and rescues elk for eventual repopulation in areas where they're scarce.”

“A hidden gem located across for the ever crowded First Watch. That's how we ended up trying this place. Unfortunately breakfast is only served on the weekends. We were seated right away and our beverage order was soon on our table. My son is a pizza lover, so he ordered the breakfast pizza. The waiter suggested the flat bread style and it was a winner. I had French toast with berry compote and it was also good. The food was in and out in minutes and my son loved every bite. During the week they have happy hour! I'll be back to try that. Overall, I had a good experience both times and I'll definitely add this place to my rotation.”

“My family and I decided to grab some dinner after a busy Saturday. We opted to eat inside instead of out on the patio due to it being a hot and humid day. Our drinks arrived promptly and we placed our orders. My daughter ordered a hamburger with French fries.
