“My mother has lived at Sunrise of McLean for about 3 years. Her level of care has changed somewhat, but the transition has been smooth. The caregivers know her, and are generally very sensible in the care they provide. I recently brought my mother back from the Fairfax Hospital ER. I was very comfortable turning her over to the med tech in charge for the night. I knew he was competent and responsible, and caring. I also feel the activities are enjoyable and helpful, even though different residents on different days might be variably cooperative. But aren’t we all different on different days? I would give more than 4 stars. Though I never give five stars to anything. I always feel some room should be left before perfection.”

“Nasrin provided an outstanding skin assessment and facial to treat my combination skin and fine lines. She treated my t-zone area and dry areas surrounding my cheeks and hairline. She also worked on collagen production in areas where fine lines are beginning to appear. Nasrin uses Skinceuticals products during the facial. She then explained ways that I can help keep my skin healthy at home, including wearing sunscreen, using a toner, a serum and moisturizer. Though she recommends Skinceuticals, she does not push products or sales and instead focuses on recommending kinds of products rather than products alone. The actual facial was so relaxing. Nasrin is warm and her facial provides a soothing experience for mind and body. Not only does Nasrin provide customize service for her clients with a gentle personality, she also brings nearly 20 years of experience as an aesthetician. Nasrin is highly qualified and I highly recommend her and Secrets Skin Care. I plan to return to Nasrin for microdermabrasion. I will update my review with feedback on that experience.”

“I recently had a telemedicine consult with Dr. Chehrenama and I am so beyond grateful that I did. I've been dealing with chronic, daily, debilitating headaches for the past 7 years. I've been a patient of a well-known, revered neurologist in Pittsburgh for the past 5 of those 7 years. Despite this neurologist being known as a pioneer in the field of neurology, nothing recommended or prescribed ever worked. I tried upwards of 20 different medications (preventative and cycle breakers) as well as Botox injections and 2 of the newly FDA approved injections for migraines. Not one thing worked. Nothing gave me headache-free days and only one or two things helped take the pain down a notch or two, but still nothing significant. At the point that I had the consult with Dr. Chehrenama, I was feeling very discouraged. I felt like the neurologist's office I was a patient at had written me off because none of their "usual" methods worked on me. I felt like there weren't any more options available to me. And then I was told about Dr. Chehrenama. I was skeptical at first because of my experience with neurologists. I didn't know if she'd be able to offer me any new information or options and if she would even care about all that I'd been through. BOY, WAS I WRONG. Not only did Dr. Chehrenama offer me a more tailored diagnosis (which is a huge deal!!) than the vague "chronic daily migraine" I'd received before but because of her more tailored diagnosis, she was able to offer me a plethora of other possible treatment options. She offered me more information and options, SPECIFIC to my situation, in one consultation than I received in the past 7 years from a conglomerate of doctors. By the time that consultation ended, I didn't feel like I was at the end of my rope without any options anymore. I feel hopeful now. Hopeful that I could gain some quality of life back. Hopeful that any new and updated research will be at the forefront of her mind. I'm grateful to be heard and I'm grateful to have gotten connected to this doctor who never wants to stop learning and helping. Thank you, Dr. Chehrenama, for breaking the mold of stereotypical neurologists. Thank you for working so tirelessly to be accessible, informed, and compassionate. That's not something I've experienced in the medical world in the 7 years I've been suffering. Please - if you are suffering, and even if you are skeptical - push through it and contact Dr. Chehrenama. You won't be disappointed.”
