“My mother has lived at Sunrise of McLean for about 3 years. Her level of care has changed somewhat, but the transition has been smooth. The caregivers know her, and are generally very sensible in the care they provide. I recently brought my mother back from the Fairfax Hospital ER. I was very comfortable turning her over to the med tech in charge for the night. I knew he was competent and responsible, and caring. I also feel the activities are enjoyable and helpful, even though different residents on different days might be variably cooperative. But aren’t we all different on different days? I would give more than 4 stars. Though I never give five stars to anything. I always feel some room should be left before perfection.”

“We ordered from Red Tomato Pizzeria and it was delicious. I had the New York Style Hand Tossed Cheese Pizza and added the toppings of fresh mozzarella cheese, red tomatoes, and basil. I know, it sounds simple, but let me tell you, simple is sometimes the easiest to mess up! This, however, was absolutely delicious and I look forward to ordering from them again very soon.”

“Friendly service - I received a warm greeting and a smile when I walked in. Average wait time - 10-15 minutes for a Philly and fries. Good food - quality was there, quantity of sandwich filling was lacking. Prices were average - $15 for a big lunch including tip, could have easily been $10 if I got a small sandwich. Cool atmosphere - restaurant is in a busy shopping center, but once inside feels like a cozy hole in the wall. I'll be back to try some of the sammies.”

“The parking lot can be busy but there is a garage. The store was clean. Friendly staff and I had the southwest wrap. The men's room was mostly clean but had some TP on the floor. Food was good. They have some really nice chairs by the window in my photo.”

“Love coming here for Happy Hour! Great atmosphere and great prices. I come here every Tuesday for $5 burgers. Burgers here you get your money’s worth. Best deal for happy hour food. “Walk here weekly for lunch and they do a good job. The place does get pretty busy especially during the standard lunch hour and on a good weather day. You may see a wait of about 5 minutes or so in line - nothing too terrible. Excellent grilled chicken sandwich (i prefer on ciabatta bread vs. the croissant). Mac and cheese side is great on a cold day!”

The burger was a bit dry, but you could chalk that up to my request for medium well. The booth I sat in had a chandelier light that was on the outs. It kept flickering throughout the meal. The service was good with the wait staff keeping my beverage full and checking in.”

“I have only tried the lunch buffet and it was very good. Although it was a little spicy for me, the flavors were wonderful. I do tend to like most Indian food, so I am probably not as discriminating as some of my Indian friends.
