“Worth every penny and more. Although I have only being going to Custom Kinetics (CK) for a little over three months now – it has been a life changing experience. I was coming off a 7-month stint of NO exercise at all! July 2016 I woke up with a pinched nerve in my back and finally had correcting surgery correcting in November. I couldn’t have been in worse shape. I tried a simple walk in the neighborhood and proceeded to fall and fall hard – resulting in a fractured elbow and sprained tendon. CK has changed all of that. Working with Tim for the last three months has awoken muscles and body parts that probably haven’t worked right for years. He challenges me, encourages me and gets as excited as I do when I finally master the movement that has eluded me for a number of sessions. The gym and the atmosphere is very non-threatening. I’ve never gone to a personnel trainer before so it was intimidating – but not anymore. I can’t say enough good things about Tim, Geoff and Custom Kinetics! “If you can just focus on your child's experience in the classroom, you will be happy here. Great teachers. Great administrators. This place would be great if they could just figure out everything that goes on OUTSIDE of the classrooms. Billing, lunches, facilities, front office staff, after school programs, field trips, classroom furniture and materials, security, book ordering--all a mess. They have lost two Heads of Schools when all they really need to lose in order to be productive and successful is their Head of Operations. She and her team are rude and unorganized. She often makes promises about facility updates that never end up happening. She has had no experience working in a school before this, so it should come as no surprise that she isn't capable of dealing with school-related issues. Although, school leadership experience clearly isn't important to BASIS, as the CEO is a former electrical engineer who knows absolutely nothing about education or working in schools. He only got the job because his aunt and uncle founded and own the company. If you've ever had the pleasure of hearing him speak, you'd quickly lose even more respect for the guy and the schools he is attempting to run. Despite the CEO and the Head of Operations both having no prior education-related work experiences, they are often the last resort for answers to questions..that they can't answer. So, if you care about all of that, this isn't the place for you. If you care about your child having great teachers and learning at a high level, come here. Hopefully the teachers and administrators don't get fed-up with all of the above and leave, because they're all that's keeping families.”
