Both my husband and I have been working with Tim, Co-founder of CK) for many years, and we both highly recommend him . Both Tim and Geoff are very knowledgeable about personal training, nutrition etc.; they will work with you and create a personal plan. They both have easy-going, calm personalities (no pressure, no shouting, but no slacking, either) and a wonderful sense of humor, which makes our sessions really something I look forward to.The gym is comfortable and quiet, not at all intimidating. I highly recommend that you talk to either of them if you want to improve strength, flexibility, lose weight etc. I am glad I did so many years ago, it has made a tremendous difference for both of us...
The BEST! Tim and I have worked together for too many years to count. A lifetime of back issues are now managed and minimized thanks to Tim's guidance. I've seen Tim and Geoff adapt their training to whatever the individual client's needs and goals may be....no matter what age, no matter what level of ability. Truly Custom. Go no further.
Worth every penny and more. Although I have only being going to Custom Kinetics (CK) for a little over three months now – it has been a life changing experience. I was coming off a 7-month stint of NO exercise at all! July 2016 I woke up with a pinched nerve in my back and finally had correcting surgery correcting in November. I couldn’t have been in worse shape. I tried a simple walk in the neighborhood and proceeded to fall and fall hard – resulting in a fractured elbow and sprained tendon. CK has changed all of that. Working with Tim for the last three months has awoken muscles and body parts that probably haven’t worked right for years. He challenges me, encourages me and gets as excited as I do when I finally master the movement that has eluded me for a number of sessions. The gym and the atmosphere is very non-threatening. I’ve never gone to a personnel trainer before so it was intimidating – but not anymore. I can’t say enough good things about Tim, Geoff and Custom Kinetics! I’ve only signed up for 6 months – but already know I’ll renew because this is a habit that I don’t want to stop. Thanks Tim!
Couldn't ask for more in a trainer. Tim Carroll is patient, thorough, and a great source of encouragement. His development of a program for me geared specifically for the muscles and parts of the body used in golf has been tremendous. The one-on-one instruction and attention in a gym not crowded with lots of patrons helps to ensure a session that enhances concentration and provides an environment conducive to quick learning of the different exercises. I'd recommend Custom Kinetics without reservation to anyone seeking to get more fit regardless of the reason. Web T
About six months ago, I decided to train for my very first Bikini Bodybuilding competition. I hired an online coach and realized a few weeks into it, it was a big mistake. A friend recommended that I contact CK and speak to Geoff as he had experience training somebody for a competition. This was the best decision I ever made! I fired my online coach and immediately started working with Geoff. I only got to work with Geoff for less than 3 months and his complete customized work out and meal plan program for me completely changed my body. It was such a pleasure to work with him as he was always so patient with my bazillion questions. He was constantly changing my workouts and meal plan week to week based on how my body changed. One of the most important things I'm walking away with is that I'm much more knowledgable about my health overall. Geoff explained everything to me and I constantly felt like I was growing in so many ways. My competition was last Saturday and I was completely touched by the fact that Geoff gave up his entire Saturday to be there right by my side- coaching me and assisting me with anything and everything I needed. He made sure I was comfortable at all times. I had such a great experience with Custom Kinetics and Geoff and I would most definitely recommend them to anyone looking to get fit, train for a competition or just to learn about health in general. I honestly can't say enough about what they do!!!! Thank you so much!
