Travelers Rest Farm, where George Washington slept

“The family spent a three nights at the Travelers Rest Farm. Agnes was an amazing host. Two days we helped care for and received much needed instruction on improving our horse riding skills. We also fed geese and ducks, petted cats and dogs, watched barn swallows feed their young in the horse stalls, paddled a canoe on their pond, rested on hammocks in the shade and watched hummingbirds feed outside our window. Additionally, we also went to the Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens in Richmond and saw the Stonewall Jackson Shrine near Fredericksburg. I don't think you will be disappointed staying at this fabulous farm.”
