“Wonderful marina! This place is special, great facilities and services in front of the beautiful Chickahominy river with easy access to the James and Chesapeake but not crowded like other rivers and lakes in VA. Awesome restaurant with outdoor seating in front of the docks with even better staff! Everyone is so nice and welcoming. We took our boat out for the first time and Calvert (owner) was actually waiting for us and helped us dock and secure the lines when we got back. After a few times here, it hits you. This is how it is all the time, they treat you like family and is clear they put a lot love and hard work into this awesome place. Our family is so happy we found this gem. I wish I could give them more stars!”

I ordered calamari expecting probably just some frozen rings... and was pleasantly surprised to get them hand cut and breaded. “One of the best premium golf experiences in Virginia. The holes are very challenging and offer great variety in an Irish links style course. I have played here multiple times and have found a consistent and positive experience throughout regardless of the season; on the golf course as well as inside the clubhouse. The staff are friendly and the food is delicious. Carts are in excellent shape and can handle the rugged terrain without problem. The practice facilities are immaculate offering a grass driving range, a large chipping green and bunker, and an equally impressive putting green located right next to the clubhouse and first tee. Make sure to reserve a tee time, and do not expect to break 100 your first time at Royal New Kent Golf Course.”

“This was a great stop we made on our way back from the Outer Banks. We were semi-lost and needed a kid-friendly place and stumbled upon this gem. The staff were very friendly and this turned out to be a popular spot for a mid-Saturday. The space offered many options for seating, which was primed for entertainment for all variety, and quaint all at once. Want to relax and listen to some jams? Check. Want to play games like Cornhole or Chess? Done. Want to gab with your friends on cushy seating with the faint hint of lavender tickling your senses? You got it 😉 There was live entertainment (shout out to #WhiskeyBizness) who were excellent! We stopped for a quick drink and a small bite and ended up staying for nearly 2 hours. This place is the only place that serves a White Norton wine and one of three on the East Coast that serves a White Merlot. I have been "off" wine for a while and found myself drinking only that during our visit (sans the quick sips I stile from my spouse's beers). Of what I tried, I enjoyed their beer and am a little disappointed it's not closer but I suspect I'll be back again.”

“I met a group of gentleman here and dinner was amazing, I had the fried chicken. Our waitress (beautiful) Ashley was extremely friendly, attentive and always smiling. It’s a plus when your waitress introduces themselves, keeps your glass full and cleans dirty dishes from table as you finish. I recommend Patsy’s, be sure to ask for the tall blonde, Ashley.”

They also started pesto tomato sandwich and kids loved it … avacado bread was ok . Hash browns were not crispy . Was a little soggy.. . Drive through was there but we went in and got it . “So we decided to stop to eat while on a road trip. This was my first time at this IHOP. The food with exactly as we ordered however what really made this an awesome meal was our waitress. She was friendly and enjoyed the interaction. This woman really knows her job and earned every bit of her tip. The only detractor is this is the first time I went to an IHOP that wasn't open 24 hours and since we were getting their kind of late we were trying to hurry so that they could close up and go home on time and while I know that's not their fault it is the only fault that I had at all. I would definitely stop there again”

“Great food! The quality is always on point, and the prices are fair. Quantity of food is always good too. They have good specials for meals and drinks that vary based on holiday and weekdays. We really like their hours of operation too, usually open till 10pm! Which is a tad later than most places in the area. Get whatever you want, plus add at least one potato taco (fried/ hard style)! Wicked tasty addition to your meal! They also have really good mozzarella sticks!”
