“Honestly, I've never had a bad experience with Rick's. I've only ever ordered the chicken Philly and the steak Philly (why order a burger when you're going to a Philly shop?). But the subs are overstuffed with meat, and it's tender, juicy, and tastes great. Sure, the atmosphere could be better, but I'm here for the food, not the dine-in experience.”

“Amazing experience! The guys at the counter were so friendly and kind, especially the cashier. The food is great and good portion size. I had 2 all beef hot dogs, fries and a Coke...on the lunch special. You can't go wrong here! This is a very welcoming place, with GOOD food, at a low price! That's getting VERY hard to find these days! 5 STARS! 😎😎😎”

“From the moment my daughter and I walked in we felt very welcomed by our host and server, a wonderful friendly gentleman named Atakan. The food was excellent! I was especially impressed with their hummus. Honestly the best I've ever had! And the lamb meatballs were so delicious. Everything was wonderful! We'll certainly be returning soon. Highly recommend!”

“We came around lunch time on a weekday, and it wasn't busy. As you walk you are welcomed by the pretty decor. I love the colors! Got seated at our tables and was instantly greeted by a waitress. They serve chips and salsa with a guacamole sauce. I don't recommend the sauce. And it took a little while for the food to come out but when it did, I was delighted!”

“Daughter and I meet here when she gets off work at midnight. Awesome late shift crew. There's one lady that's been with waffle house almost 30yrs. Awesome lady! Love her cooking as well. But there are 2 night crew guys that play music and cook. They are great also. 👍”

“Love their NY style pizza making skills. Moved to VA in Nov from the Bronx. It's not exact but it's the closest to it. 24' 1 topping for $16.99. Well worth it!”

“This is not one of those chain chicken restaurant! I have always heard about this place but never went until today. And it was A-MAZING. I got a 3 piece meal with white meat. The chicken was so fresh and real! There was nothing odd about the texture like some places. And the pieces were nice size but not overly large like they had been working out. Even the roll that came with it was delicious with the chicken. I chose fries as my side and yep they were yummy too! I chose a cherry drink that I had heard so much about and my oh my! I am sad I waited so long to visit, but now I know. Now to set the proper expectations, service was a tad slow but that is because everything is back there being cooked like grandma used to do in her kitchen and the food was definitely worth the wait. I cannot wait to try other menu items.”

“I have never had a bad experience with them. The staff is always sweet to me and they actually get to know who you are if you’re a regular. Sometimes my burgers taste funny, but that only happened once or twice. But for the most part, the food is really amazing and the staff are too. Y’all should go there and experience this for yourself.”

“My experience was awesome this the 2nd time in 2 weeks that Rita had prepared my family Philly cheese steaks to perfection. The 1st time she cooked em and they were out of mushrooms, and I gotta have mushrooms. However she cooked it so good I couldn’t even tell they didn’t have any. So every time I get a chance I drive from Smithfield, Va to see Rita for the best cheesesteaks in the world.”

“Great experience. Robin was super friendly, helpful, and patient while we made our order. She even answered all of our questions. The establishment was clean and inviting and the food was delicious. We need one of these in Florida/Georgia.”

“Gus’s Hot Dog King was a recommended place from friends. Very popular locally so I went to see why for myself. My family of four ate for right around $30 and everyone liked the food. The kids are picky eaters so that’s saying something. I loved the onion rings and would order the chili dog again. The people working there were really nice. There is inside seating. Inside was full, but that’s another good sign you chose the right place. There’s outside seating. It’s right off of Jefferson so noise from the traffic may deter you from eating outside.”

“We walked in to find a clean looking, peaceful restaurant. The menus were clean as were the tables. The booth seat was a little uncomfortable to me (back was too straight) so we opted to sit at a table. My only complaint was the floor was very sticky. Our waitress was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. We ordered Thai coffee, crab wontons and vegetable rolls to start off with. The coffee was really good. Both appetizers were fresh and tasty. I didn't care for the sauce that came with them. Edible, but pretty bland. Peter and I opted to share a vegetable medley stir fry, with chicken, and my son ordered pad Thai with glass noodles. Nathan said his meal was wonderful. The medley was good, nothing special. Overall it was a nice meal and a pleasant experience. Cost was about $20/per. “Absolutely phenomenal, prices aren't very expensive, portions are great and the food tastes perfect. I don't even consider ordering from anywhere else. (They also do cash delivers which is a plus because doordash/Uber eats is a scam.)”

“The taste of the food is phenomenal, one of the best authentic Korean restaurant I've ever been. The service is just OK. She seems not so friendly, not smile and talk much, but quick and get our orders right. Price is high just like all other Korean restaurant so that's epected and acceptable. Overall, I would always come back for the food, and highly recommended for trying it out.”

“Absolutely FANTASTIC experience!!! Cashier greeted with a genuine smile and was very polite and helpful, offering a promotional item and because of her positive demeanor we said yes! Store was very clean and well stocked. Food was piping hot and super fresh. Soda fountain was clean and stocked as well. Sweet tea hit the spot. Store manager even asked midway thru our meal if everything was alright and hot, very politely at that. HIGHLY recommend to everyone!!! 💜”

“Regattas fine dining was an interesting experience to say the least. The variety of food was wonderful, however, not everything was up to par. My pasta was over cooked, but the salad bar was immaculate. One of the workers, Kelly, was particularly rude, not only to me but to the students as well. But Dana was extremely friendly and kind. If I did not have to deal with Kelly I would be happy to come back again.”

“For a while now, Red Robin has been slipping in terms of service and food. Yesterday was a very welcome return to the high quality one used to expect from Red Robin. The food was excellent and the service was friendly and swift. Drinks were refilled without asking, the food was fresh and prepared as requested, and the meal was paced well. Even with the restaurant quite full (and our server having many tables to handle) our meal arrived quickly. This marked a great improvement over previous visits to this location. The staff has done a great job turning this location around and it shows.”

“Decided to try this place out with my mother, after many people recommended it. WOW!!! It far exceeded our expectations. Hands down the very best Indian/Nepal food we’ve ever had. The staff were very attentive and helpful and extremely nice. For an appetizer we ordered the Chili Momo spice level medium. The momo’s were cooked perfectly and very filling with a delicious masala sauce coated on it. I ordered the chicken vindaloo extra hot ( I like it spicy) the chicken was cooked perfectly and curry was nice and spicy. I was sweating LOL. I ordered the Bullet Naan to go with it and let me say this was the VERY best naan I’ve ever had. I mean it was PERFECT! My mother ordered the chicken Biryani medium spice. She also said it was the very best she’s had. It was loaded with chicken and even had a boil egg in it. It was perfectly spiced for her as well. The portions were more than generous, and you could just tell the food was very fresh and made with LOVE! I would give this place 10 stars if I could. This will now be our GO-TO spot when we are craving some delicous authentic Indian food. I can’t recommend this place enough! It’s a MUST TRY! 10/10 Food. 10/10 price. 10/10 Staff/Service. 10/10 EXPERIENCE”

“So this is a newish micro sized BK, it can't be more than a couple of years old. I swear this place was so clean and shiny when I visited on a recently that I thought it had been planted and grown overnight. It's a bit off the beaten path as it's located at the very top part of Newport News just before you get to Yorktown. I was on my way to Richmond to do some photography at Belle Isle and we decided to stop and get some breakfast. The location for this BK worked really well for us because there's so little at this exit that we were able to hop off I64 and pull into the parking lot a couple of moments later. The only other business nearby is a 7-11. Since they was no traffic we were the only customers at that point and were able to walk in and order right away. The staff was friendly and everyone was wearing masks and observing social distancing, etc. While the dining room was open, there was no one eating within. We ordered our breakfasts and decided to take them back to the car and just stood outside and enjoyed the morning air while we ate. I haven't had a BK breakfast in quite a long time and found my croissant was was excellent. I had a side of tots and a cup of coffee to round out the meal. There were no trash cans in the parking lot so I returned inside to throw the bag away when we were finished. This was a great little BK from what I've experienced. I'm likely to stop here again on my way to Richmond in the future.”

“I moved to New Mexico two years ago, and am here for Christmas. I didn’t know how good I had it! The older African American woman with the bob was super sweet! Can’t beat Virginia hospitality and good cheap food! This meal was a Wednesday special for $5 and change”

“Food is really good. Sauce is towards the sweet taste style of red sauce. The house dressing is like a zesty Italian so it has a bit of a bite. Lots of variety on the menu. Pizza fries too. Most of the staff are very warm and welcoming. Great portions and food is served hot. Has outdoor dining area as well as run down/dated cozy inside. Only downside to this place is the neighborhood behind it and the tiny giant convenience store next door. There are some rough people that will harass you at night and they tend to target women more. So use caution if going alone. Wish they'd just move the restaurant to a new place.”

“My wife and I found this spot when we first moved to Virginia and totally fell in love at first Friday Night Karaoke! Amazing bartender, Ross makes every Friday night fun, reasonably priced drinks, pool and different slot machines to enjoy in a place that isn't so packed you can't turn around. Very fun! You HAVE to go!”

“This is the best Chinese restaurant in this area! The pecking duck was the best I've had in a long time. It's very hard to find something like this in the area. The salt and pepper tofu was good too! Service was exceptional. Judy was the nicest lady ever. I will be back soon for sure.”
