“Lil's is a great little restaurant. The food is homemade and not some freezer special from Sysco. I had the Reuben and fries on my latest trip. Excellent as always, perfect ratio of beef, sauerkraut and 1000 Island. Fries were cooked perfectly. Beer is also the coldest in town. Served with a frosty mug. The only hit on this place is that it allows smoking inside. Smoke wasn't terrible but as a former smoker, not my most favorite. Regardless, this doesn't stop me from being a repeat customer at all.”

“Hubby picked this spot for a Saturday lunch and it was perfect. We sat in their covered seating area (that is important to us because we are pale). I am not a big drinker, but when our waitress read the drink of the day, it sounded delicious and it was! It was mocha raspberry iced coffee with Bailey's and vodka as well as Cordial. It went down smooth. Hubby had the BLT with a side of green beans and I had the grilled salmon filet with a side of pasta salad. Both were amazing!! The BLT had extra B and the Salmon was grilled to perfection. Both sandwiches were falling apart and messy to eat, which I believe is a sign of a good sandwich. Our waitress Fae was sweet and attentive. And she gets extra points for calling me beautiful. We are going to try this place out for dinner while we are here too!!”

“4.5 stars, 5 stars for the service. The only reason I took 1/2 star is because the crab cake was not at Virginia standards especially at a place called Crab Shack. However, Fried Calamari are at high end Italian level 100%, Oysters 10/10 and blackened Tuna bites as well. It is always refreshing to hear that a restaurant is out of a menu item, it tells me that it is fresh. Second time here and it is becoming a usual. Ambiance is unbeatable and I live 6 minutes away. Had cauliflower heat pizza ( forgot the name) it's their specialty pizza and deeelicious!!. Now i have to get into the Calzone the crust flavorful and cheesy and last dessert salted Carmel apple pie. I was anticipating something small with an okay taste. Welp! I was i was wrong, this delicious treat was pre-sliced, apple fresh Carmel warm and the crust well. It had a pizza dough feel but sweet taste. Great combo. A definitely plc well do again.”

“The empanadas were outstanding! Hot, fresh, and delicious. I was also able to enjoy their churrasco. I am more a fan of the Argentinian churrasco, made with skirt steak. Nevertheless the steak was tasty but not quite as good as I had hoped. The service was super friendly and did not take too long. A very nice small family run feel to the atmosphere and the server was very kind and patient as we had a handful of kids with us that day.”
