“This is our first summer attending Golden Slippers. I had many friends recommend Golden Slippers Dance Academy and then I seen that they were running such a great summer rate that I had to enroll my daughter. They have several locations throughout Virginia Beach and tons of hours and variety of dance classes. They even have a good amount of apparel and accessory inventory on sale so you don't have to search else where for leotards, skippers, tap shoes, etc. All the staff members have been so nice answering any questions I had. My daughter loved her ballet/tap instructor. Overall top notch customer service. The reason I am giving this place a 4 star is because it looks very outdated and could be renovated or updated. In addition, I don't like not getting to watch my daughter practice. I'm not sure if this is normal for dance but my daughter does gymnastics and other sports where I can watch her practice. However, they have great rates, lots of locations and hours and very pleasant staff members you can't beat that.”

“I am a sucker for service so I prefer Kempsville to the Virginia Beach Boulevard location. Golden is my favorite flavor and I also love the fried mushrooms 😋. Wing King is hands down my favorite place for wings ever since they were by the Kemps Crossing shopping center. I'm probably dating myself a little but I digress. The subs here are great too. I can honestly say that everything that I have tried has been a winner 🏆”

“My husband and I love this Church and all of our church family. We have been going here for about 2 years. We moved here from another state and everyone has been so great and made us feel right at home and a part of them. Our Pastor rocks. Every time someone new comes in he makes sure to talk to them and get to know them a little and makes them feel welcome. Not only does he talk to them he remembers them and looks for them the next Sunday. Our church family plans many events where everyone can get together and hang out such as cook outs after church, easter egg hunts, and Christmas parties. Our Pastor stays with the word of God he does not take anything away or add to it. Every sermon he preaches makes either me or my husband grow more spiritually sometimes both in the same sermon. Everyone here is so supportive and helpful through anything and everything. Their kids department teachers are fantastic our son loves them very much. He is always excited to go to church and learn from them. If you do not come here and make AGC your home you are missing out. Our fam is awesome. ”

“At Colonial Baptist, the power of God is unmistakable in the preaching. Pastor Brent, Pastor James, and all of the teachers and preachers walk through the Bible in a very thorough (exegetical) way that explains the passage and leaves the hearer with a more clear understanding. The excellent preaching and the church’s high view of Scripture translate into compassionate leadership and preaching, passionate, congregational worship and thoughtful/strategic equipping of the saints through their Group classes. They love people where they are and offer Biblical counseling from a compassionate and humble perspective. They send out missionaries regularly and place an emphasis on everyone supporting them. I like that families, individuals, older and younger generations are all valued and often addressed appropriately in the sermons. Listening to Pastor Brent helps me understand Scripture so much more and makes me want to love Jesus and others more, and read my Bible more!”

“Natural Lawn of America has transformed my disaster of a lawn, riddled with weeds and moles/voles to an almost flawless green lushes lawn in just under 2 years. “Best Cup of Coffee THEY HAVE THESE NEW BREW BY THE CUP COFFEE MACHINES! You choose your cup size and blend, the machine grinds your beans and does a pour over fresh into your cup. It takes all of 20 seconds. Okay, I hear you guys who have left reviews. I asked the cashier if that’s what the machine did - did it really grind the beans from the top display pots and make each cup fresh and he said, “Well they’re not there for looks.” ? For what I need (coffee) this Royal Farms is good, but management - you literally have the most prime stopping point on what I call the “Volvo Pkwy Expressway.” Fix your employees. There are people out there with great attitudes who are HUNGRY for a job in this pandemic. Don’t squander the opportunity to make this store great with bad attitudes.”

As a realtor, I strongly recommend them when I am representing both sellers and buyers-- I even used him as the inspector on my own home. They understand the strain of a real estate transaction but never let that affect their inspection standards. “I always enjoy the hunt for groovy deals at Dollar General. No difference this time, unfortunately, this day the store was a disaster! There were two different items, in 2 different areas of the store, that I did not buy because all (9 or 17) of them were too trashed to even ask for a discount and remake/fix. I have to say- I never go in to ANY store looking for an immaculately clean/organized experience, I was in retail management for too many years to know better than to expect that, but, even for a Dollar General, areas of this location on this particular day were unreachable. I'm sure it will be better...or at least different areas, the next visit I make!”
