“We had our work Christmas party here last year but it was only about 15 people. This year we've grown tremendously to about 45 attending. Which left a bit of a daunting task to find a place not already booked or that was willing to take on that large of a reservation Decided to check with Sumo after being turned down by several other establishments. Although they seemed a little scared of that big of a group, they happily took the reservation. I too was a little nervous about how things would go but they surpassed my expectations. The staff exhibited exceptional efficiency, amiability, and a flair for entertaining, leaving us thoroughly impressed. Four tables and four cooks orchestrated the evening seamlessly, supported by very attentive staff members attending to our needs throughout the event. Of course the food was absolutely amazing. “Visited for the first time today while vacationing at the beach. The hostess was friendly and accommodating. The food was fantastic…fresh, large portions, and great quality. Loved the unique touches like the pickled onions and tomatoes on the sandwiches, and the brown sugar butter for the biscuits. The sweet potato biscuits with ham and red pepper jam were delicious and better than others I’ve had in the area. The sandwiches are huge (a half portion option would be great), and quite messy but well worth the sticky fingers and extra napkins. Very clean and comfortable atmosphere, and clean restrooms! One of our new “regulars” for sure when we come back to the beach!”

“Had my first Waffle House experience when I was down for a wedding in late September 2023. The very friendly waitress told me for first time I had to get waffles. Well, that's what I wanted anyway! Then she said no honey, you have to try the flavored waffles. She had me at chocolate peanut butter waffles. I also got a side of hash browns, eggs, and bacon. The waffles were very good, I expected no less. The eggs were good. The bacon cooked perfectly. Overall it was a very pleasant experience. Considering how slow things move in the south the Waffle House is the exception. Everything came out hot, fast, and delicious.”

“I was randomly looking for something to eat and came across this place. I placed an online order and it was ready within 20 minutes! I went to pick it up and the staff member came in and serviced me immediately. He was very polite and friendly! I ordered the medium buffalo wings and curly fries. They were very good and wasn't cooked too hard! It was very flavorful! I'm glad the wings were a nice size because I've been to places where the wings were very little! I enjoyed the fries as well! I'd recommend this place and plan on returning! Great experience!”

“I've been searching for a great Italian restaurant in the area for a while and today was a great day. We happened upon it and we were well pleased. Great location and easy access. We didn't make reservations but a table was available and it wasn't super busy for a Saturday. The waiter was ok and the atmosphere is very nice. Not crowded but quaint. This visit, only tried the seafood alla vodka dish $$ and the sweet tea and I did enjoy both. I will return.”

“My son & I were on our way to Ocean City and stopped off here for mid morning coffee. We parked for free and ordered our drinks inside as you do in all Starbucks across the world. I had a capuccino and my son had the coffee free mint chocolate Frapuccino. We drank inside as we preferred the airconditioned comfort afforded there. And we were able to make use of the free WiFi to catch up on emails, the internet etc. Not forgetting, of course the chance to use the free, decent restrooms before continuing on our journey. Service was efficient. All good!”

“Had a few extra minutes before dropping a friend off at the airport and decided to get some Bojangles. The restaurant was as expected clean but fast food etc. The staff seemed all to be fairly new and in training but given the current COVID environment it’s to be expected. The chicken dinner and sweet tea hit the spot. Southern chicken fast food style! Altogether not a bad location or place for some grub with friends or family. Plenty of seating inside and out and good food. Cheers!!”

“This will just be a review of the bar since I did not eat. This is a fun bar. There is open parking in front and a little lot on the side. If all of that is full, parking could be a bit tricky as it looked like the nearby streets did not allow for street parking. The inside is split into two sections and there is also a nice outdoor patio space. The bar had a good selection of beer. The bartender was great. There was just one guy working the bar our group was at and he did an excellent job of keeping up with the orders. Overall, a fun place to hang out with friends for drinks.”

“Found this little gem on a quick weekend trip from NYC. Made reservations as it was a Saturday. We were greeted and seated quickly. The food was fresh and delicious!! Can't compare.
