“Love this campground! If you are in a tent, the closer to the water, the better. Otherwise, you can hear the noise from the road. We have stayed in 169 and 186, loved them both. There was shade, a lot of room for the kids to run around and play in the sand. The picture is from site 186.”

“The Best Western was completely booked at 10 PM on a Saturday night, and after driving over half a day to Norfolk, VA from WPB, FL, Red Roof was a nice find. Sure, no complimentary breakfast or bottled water, but the cleanliness was greatly appreciated. What's more, the TV had an HDMI cable, so I could use DeX for games and such (even Best Western couldn't provide one). I'd recommend it for a quick overnight trip.”

“The staff, especially Dr. Burkholder, are wonderful. However, when you are sick, you cannot get an appointment at this location. I am in need of a doctor now and was told I could see her at the end of December. Unacceptable. My mother also goes to this office and she was on hold for 49 minutes only to be hung up on in the end with no help, no call back, nothing. For this reason I would recommend you continue searching other doctor's offices.”

“This location is ideal for those who don't wish to be a part of the crowded boardwalk properties. Far enough north with beautiful expanses of beaches tucked in between private homes and no parking fees . Food was okay tables have been placed out.on the beach terrace for proper separation, only thing beds could be updated, way too soft for my sleeping needs, but in all a nice place to be able to enjoy the beach, all rooms in the main (older tower are ocean front). Be sure and bring your own chairs for the beach as you can spend $50 a day for lounges and umbrella.”

“My mom and I had a really nice stay here this summer. The room included a private outdoor terrace which we really enjoyed. Breakfast was great and included eggs, toast, fruit, yogurt, etc. Only comment is that it would have been nice go have something aside from eggs for one day but still we were very happy. The host is also very friendly and can give some good tips on places to visit in the area.”

Fort Story is great, the beach is a short walk away, private, quiet and simply relaxing. This is our go to place in the VB area!”

“The rooms are clean the bathrooms need it to be more scrub, they offer military discount which is very much appreciated, they have a outdoor pool and its across the street from base and around 15- 20 minutes from the beach. The area looks a little bit sketchy but the car was safe and i didn't see or heard any incidents the time i stayed at this place. The couch you see in the picture attached are sofa bed so it can fit an extra 2 people.”
