“My son (13) has been taking piano lessons for about a year with Erin. I am struck by the level at which he is playing within a short period of time. Erin has a very unique way of teaching by allowing her students to select the music they are interested in and will adapt the piece to their playing level. Her passion for music comes through in her teaching and she ensures that it is fun for her students. We are now doing lessons via Skype, which has worked out very well. Would highly recommend Erin!”

“The only reason why I liked Union, is because the most friendly person there is their School Resource Officer Officer Olson. The picture below is the person that I just mentioned.”

“I highly recommend Emily for piano and music lessons for your children. She taught my son James and made a huge impression on his life. He is a teenager now and still pays piano. Emily offers an excellent foundation and is very professional. She brings out the best in her students, I highly recommend her. If we still lived in the area our son would love to still be taking piano lessons from her!”

“When I was on the search for local mandolin teachers Lonnie came very highly recommended. I enjoyed my first lesson so much that I am looking forward to many more. I am inspired to practice more because I know that it gives him more to work with. Teaching your concepts to another is a tough thing and I am experiencing that Lonnie is up to that task.”

“I've been taking voice lessons here. Both Rebekah and Emily are kind people and good instructors, with different skills and talents to offer. All of the employees here that I've met are patient and friendly, willing to help out and answer any questions you have. Beacock is probably your best bet in the Vancouver area if you want to buy some music-related equipment. I bought the Encanto piano songbook here and it was sold at a pretty good price.”

“My daughter is attending prescool at Hosanna and we are very happy with the school and teachers. Both Mrs. Thurman and Mrs. Shiela are absolutely wonderful. We will be registering for next year shortly. I'm not sure why people are complaining about the teachers, if you go to the Hosanna website, under faculty, you can clearly see the Bios of all staff members, in that you can also see that they are very well educated and have really relevant past experiences with kids.”

“If it were not for our cross-country move, we would not be leaving Noah’s Ark. Karen and her team (Terri, Sammy, Cierra…) are amazing. My toddler has only been here for a few short months, but loves going to school everyday and asks about his friends even after coming home from school. Communication and cleanliness is extremely important to us, especially when my child (who has a nut allergy) is being cared for by others and there was no shortage of communication with Karen and her team. The kind disposition and safe environment that Noah’s Ark has built is unmatched! Center-based with a small in-home feel. If you are looking for a childcare/preschool for your littles, I highly, highly recommend Noah’s Ark, hands down!! We will miss Karen and her team and only hope to find something just as good.”

“Two boys attending. Not as bad as old reviews. They are safe and happy, not the best teaching curriculum. reasonable class sizes. They no longer bus in out of area students (like they did up until a few years ago) so neighbors and friends all attending. We moved here recently to attend these schools, have not been disappointed.”

“Our girls have attended public schools, private schools, and Christian schools. Some were fine, by most standards. But over the years, we had a growing sense that something just wasn't quite right about contemporary education. We spend more and more money on the system, but the product continues to decline. Why is that? Our research on "back to basics" education -- you know, where kids need books and not iPads, to learn how to think and not be parrots -- led us to classical Christian education. Which led us to Cedar Tree. There, we found the answer we had been looking for. How can I describe it? Being "Christian" means teaching children honor and grace in all things, not just adding a Bible class to a public-school curriculum. Being "classical" means my girls learn how to think critically, and communicate well. And lead. Turn on the TV for a few minutes and you'll be reminded why these qualities are so essential for our children. I can't possibly recommend Cedar Tree highly enough.”

“Extremely happy with my first training visit with Anna today! I told her right off the bat i wanted to get into nerdy stuff of body mechanics and the very specific ways to support a load. She smiled - we geek out on the same things. She has an acute eye for detail, is well educated and loves what she does. So excited to continue my training!”

“I graduated 2014. I really like Skyview. Teachers were really nice and like to joke around. The other kids were generally nice. Some were loud, obnoxious, and some were mean. Other than that, the overall experience was good. Skyview is not for everybody though. The open wall concept and the high school drama will probably make some kids leave.”

“My son has been attending Harney since Kindergarten. Yes, he has been involved in a couple physical and verbal incidents and each was addressed by faculty and dealt with up to my standards, including contacting their parents. My son is in 5th grade this year and he LOVES Harney! He has made long lasting friends, played in championship basketball and he has learned SO much from Harney. I believe his teachers over the years have had alot to do with that. I give them 5 stars! My daughter attended kindergarten last year and she absolutely LOVES school. Mrs. Goforth (who also taught my son in kinder) and her teaching skills, plus classroom activities, made her first year of school the BEST! Thank you. Her first week of kinder, she was put on the wrong bus. While it frustrated me to get a phone call at work and having to leave to pick her up, I understand mistakes happen. We are all human and nobody is perfect. My daughter has just started first grade and amazes me at all she has already learned, her writing skills and her reading is awesome! Harney has curriculum nights, PTO meetings, etc for anyone to attend to voice their opinions and/or address any issues you feel need to be addressed. While reading these reviews, I felt obligated to voice my opinion. Kids will be kids. You can't blame the school or all of the faculty for bullying or harassing students. Some teachers are not as good as others, some don't have as much patience, and maybe they should find another career. But my experience and both my kids experiences are great. I have always got calls back if I leave messages. My kids have always been well cared for. For the incidents that did happen, I was notified immediately and/or when I called, I was listened to and appropriate actions were taken. I get great feedback at conferences. While no school is perfect, for Harney, I have no complaints. I think Harney is wonderful :)”

“This is a fantastic school. The teachers are reasonable and care about the students success, great sports coaches, the students have a lot of spirit especially when it comes to sports. Only issue is it's a bit crowded, however the building will be getting rennovations within the next 3 years”
