“I have been a student at this studio for two years. Annice is an excellent instructor and Pilates has made such a difference in how I feel on a daily basis. I can feel it when I miss a class. The gentle (but effective!) toning, the stretching and core work have improved my tennis and golf games. There is a ton of variety in the exercises so that it never gets boring. And Annice is very good at challenging you to do as much as you can, but always with proper form in mind. Excellent studio. Highly recommended.”

He actually personally called me at home before surgery and after surgery to ensure I was comfortable and recovering well. His office is staffed with caring, friendly, and supportive people that get you answers or what you need. They actually answer the phone and they actually follow up and call you back. Erin has a very unique way of teaching by allowing her students to select the music they are interested in and will adapt the piece to their playing level. “Switched our son to Dragon Star from another studio over 4 years ago. I can’t say enough good things about Sifu Tom. They prepare you for real world situations, not just going through the motions. The most genuine people you’ll ever meet. My son, husband and daughter are all enrolled and I just recently started tai chi classes. They’re always having events for kids, like movie nights, Halloween parties, etc. You can be yourself here without fear of judgement. It’s definitely a safe place. I hope that Dragon Star will always be a part of our lives.”

“Mark charged about the same rate as several other shops that quoted me however some of them did not use the full synthetic spec'd fluid yet charged same. When I asked if he would be taking the rear cover (diff change) apart he said "no". I was pleasantly surprised on pickup that he had. In addition he charged only an hour of shop time and did not charge me for the slip additive because it wasn't on the original quote he gave. I found him polite,honest, and hard working. I'd be happy to support his business again and would recommend him to others. Also very smooth scheduling for it just being him and another mechanic.”

“I have not had the same experience others have while living here. The manager has always been friendly and accommodating. I have had 3 maintenance issues since my residency began and all were fixed and addressed in less than 24 hours. I will say new management came in in November of 2016, so perhaps the new management has tightened up. All in all rent is competitive, management friendly and effective, and *most* of the residents are extremely friendly. My only real complaint is the lack of parking. It is hard to have company as most visitor spots are already taken by residents. However, I'm not even sure how they could fix the parking issue as there is only so much space. **Update** I recently moved out of town and wanted to add a final note to my review. The management team has always been friendly and supportive and that continued through my moving out. I have nothing but positive things to say about each staff member and recommend giving Pacific Pointe a visit if you're looking for a new place to call home!”

“We are not from the area, so we called to see if we needed reservations, and Liz was so friendly on the phone. She put us on the list for a table and said they'd be ready for us in 15mins. (I would call to ahead, especially during dinner hour on a Friday night.) When we arrived, Liz sat us immediately. She was also our waitress, and she has a friendly personality and great service skills! On their tables, they do have a sign that ask guests to be patient because they make everything to order, so it does take longer to get food. Drinks came out fairly quick, however. The food was definitely worth the wait! So delicious! I recommend the Chicken and Bacon Fettuccine for dinner, and the their chocolate cake for dessert! As my 8 year old son put it, "We need to come back again and again!"”

“It was nice to get to see this hidden treasure! It was quiet, calming and uplifting to be able to get grounded and balance the rest of my chakras. I was able to see so many different plant species and enjoy them . The bees were out and about and there is even different examples of composting available to see. Great place to take your family, friends or even visit on your own. Please be mindful and respectful of how loud you are when you arrive and while walking through. It's a nice little peaceful tucked away sanctuary. Hope you enjoy!!!”

“Great atmosphere, family friendly with brand new pool table. Very nice outdoor seating with corn hole and spacious seating 😊 All dough is made in house and is simply delicious! All of the pizza can be made into calzones which are huge and evenly filled💙 Slightly different hours because they are a little short staffed but everything was great when we went. Owner came to check on us personally and is very hospitable. I live in Vancouver but I genuinely hope to be back soon!”

“Hadn't been to this park before (only been one time), but was pleasantly surprised by the water feature for kids. It also had a playground off the side that had a couple spinning structures and slides. The water playground had a couple of unique features that could be activated by a button near the water playground itself. A variety of water activities for kids to play with. Additionally there was a covered area on the south side of the park as well as baseball fields and public restrooms for use. Some tree cover for shade as well and wide open fields if some wanted to throw a ball or play soccer / frisbee.”
