“The institute is a non profit that offers retreats and has its grounds open to the public. This review is for the trails visited though after eyeing the cabins and the grounds, I'm looking at signing up for a retreat. Went here for a group hike and it was a lovely, relaxed walk through multiple short trails. Mostly gentle incline except for the steep Goat trail. Lots of tree roots to watch out for to avoid tripping on the hike but other than that, its safe for older and the littlest of hikers. No restrooms onsite but downtown Langley is just a few minutes drive and has public toilets. Recommended for families with little kids, older adults, and individuals looking for a meditative hiking experience. Dogs are not welcome on the trail. Plenty of parking available.”

“Dental care is not cheap but at Saratoga Dental I never feel like they’re pushing for unnecessary work. Dr Braden is gentle, honest, straightforward and thoughtful. The staff turnover is very low, which says something important about the practice and they all appear to care about each other. I think Catherine has been “my” hygienist for 15 years and I feel very fortunate.”

“The small-group fitness training with Adam at Vibrant Fitness is, quite simply, the best training I have ever received. As a retired court reporter of 30 years, sitting has taken its toll on my body and when I started, I was very prone to injury. “Hans Jangaard has helped me where standard medicine has not. My body went into autoimmune following the J&J COVID Vaccine. If I catch COVID now, I have little way of fighting COVID. I have lost feeling on the right side of my face, 50% of the feeling in my feet, toes completely numb, severe pin point headaches, some vision impacts on my right side, great fatigue. “Cynthia and her team are really wonderful to work with. They offer full service at home births for those who can and want to deliver at home as well as a full service birthing suite in Greenbank. They also offer a birthing tub rental for optional water births. Cynthia is caring, personable and supportive. My family’s experience delivering at a hospital and at home were night and day different. At home we were surrounded by family in a peaceful setting with competent providers who allowed as much participation in the delivery as we wanted. I highly recommend Cynthia and her team for your family’s next birth.”

“Our family had a different house booked for Christmas but, at the last minute, lost it. I was scrambling to find a place big enough for the 22 of us. Carrie and Tessa were amazing! They worked so hard to make our last minute Christmas get away work. They answered all my questions so fast and clear and accommodated all our requests. They went above and beyond with personal touches to the house based on comments I made about our family. The driveway was hard to see from the street on the dark and rainy December nights. Carrie and Tessa went out in the rain and the dark and hung beautifully Christmas lights down the driveway. Not only did it help us see the driveway at night but it also added to the magic. We love Christmas lights! We were all so sad about loosing our original house but The Quintessa completely met our expectations. The only thing that would have made our stay absolutely perfect is if it had snowed. It snowed a couple days after we left. There are a lot of things to do on the island and the house had brochures so we could look at the different options.”
