“Meredith was my employee for about 4 year! She came to me with a goal to open her own business! She was dedicated and determined to learn and grow as much as possible and did she ever. She is passionate and has a great understanding of her skill set! No matter what service you get she will meet your expectations. She has given me plenty of facials, lash lifts and sugaring! I was able to be one of the first clients and her place is absolutely perfect, cozy and personal just how we like it! Can’t wait to be back again and again! Congratulations Meredith it will be well worth it!”

“Great customer service from Autumn who KNOWS her paint! We had a gallon of 15 year old paint from a discontinued brand and she did a custom blend in the product we wanted and matched it perfectly! What an eye!”

“I have been a patient of Dr. Jennifer's since 2017. I am now in my early 70's and generally in good health. Throughout the time I have been her patient, I have greatly appreciated her approach to health and well being. She provides a deeper understanding of health issues and gives me options for treatments as needed. This Fall, I decided to undertake a 10 week Enhanced Wellness Program under her care. It is a holistic approach to wellness including reassessment of what I eat and drink, supplements, a 14 day detox program, additional exercises, and strategies to improve the quality of my sleep. Weekly appointments have given me an opportunity to discuss changes, assess my progress, ask lots of questions, and gain a better understanding of how to build and maintain my health and happiness. I highly recommend Dr. Jennifer and the clinic.”

“Had a great time meeting Jack. He greeted us with a glass of red wine and let us explore his Gallery. Shared his experience with us of traveling abroad to recover his art work. What a adventure. I will always remember this experience.”

“Every step of the process exceeded my expectations! Paul was very knowledgeable and worked with us to design a system that met our needs. Not too big that we'd be overpaying, and not too small that it wouldn't generate enough power. Patricia in the billing department helped us secure an energy-efficiency loan and made the paperwork a breeze. Kyle and the rest of the installation crew was safe, tidy, and professional while working on our roof. I'm so happy with our solar panels!”

“It's always a great experience at Saratoga Dental! They do everything they can to make me comfortable while I'm there. I really appreciate that they have the latest technologies, like lower radiation x-rays and noise canceling head phones. It's great to listen to podcasts or Pandora while I'm getting my teeth worked on, but even more than the comforts that keep me at ease in the dental chair, it's the awesome people at Saratoga Dental that keep me coming back!”

“Pretty nice and varied trails. Signage could be a bit better in some places. Lots of parking. I was there during the week, and I doubt there were more than 5 vehicles. Weekends may be different. Definitely a great place for trail runners, too.”

“Love coffee and scones?? I wasn’t an advocate for scones til I met Jupiter Coffee’s scones. I am now a lover of Laura’s scones. Not all scones are created equal. Laura absolutely has her recipe dialed in to be not only the best scone on Whidbey but the best scone on earth and Jupiter”

“Hammond installed the 240V line to our septic system some years ago; prompt, efficient, competent. A month or so ago I had an issue with an interior light fixture (small job); I called and Hammond sent someone to fix it a day later. Again, prompt, efficient, competent. My experiences with other electricians on the Island has not been as good. Recommended.”

“Wanted to buy fresh Penn Cove mussels and clams to cook at home and was told that Apple Market at Ken's Korner was the place to buy them in Langley. The staff were helpful and friendly, the store looked clean and tidy. Can't comment about the grocery prices except for the clams and mussels. They were fresh and priced similarly to stores in Seattle. Will shop here next time when we are in the area.”

“Absolutely amazing place, beautiful unique works of arts. Many sculptures outside on property. Only bad thing I can say is the grounds were very muddy. My car got filthy just driving in to park. Where boots!!”

“Gregor Rare Books was nostalgic and hit every heart sting in my soul. My husband and I visited Langley, WA, which is a quaint, lovely, tourist town on the southern part of Whidbey Island, accesible from the mainland via the Mukilteo Ferry or a drive through Deception Point at the Northern end of the Island. Langley has evolved from a sleepy island community into a high end tourist destination where dot com employees can spend a weekend and a ton of cash on just about everything you can imagine. A tourist who isn’t heavy with cash can still enjoy some of the town’s shopping experiences. The eateries offer broad selections and prices, so taking a day for lunch and a nice walk won’t break the bank. Being retired or on a budget still works! Now, down to business. My favorite find in downtown Langley was Gregor Rare Books. It was exactly like walking into the same store twenty-five years ago. The vibe was perfect and felt like a sanctuary from the downtown glitz and bling of Seattle. But best of all, was David Gregor. He was a true bohemian in his mellow unassuming nature, sitting behind his desk reading the latest book about Leonard Cohen. I cruised the few aisles and felt that David Gregor had hit the bells and whistles of what any book collector would want in his or her collection. Being an ex collector myself, I checked prices and conditions. The books were well priced for their value. His collection included Hemingway, Kesey, Steinbeck, Hesse, Kerouac, Harrison and too many more to mention. The books in this store were the books I cut my teeth on and grew up with. He hit most of the greatest writers of our time. It wasn’t lost on me that David Gregor had about five titles by his own hand, two of which I bought and are currently on my reading stack. Did I mention that he is also a musician? David is just a really smart guy who happens to be very well read, can play the guitar, is disciplined enough to write and has a beautiful bookstore in downtown Langley. Jesus tap dancing Christ. Perfect life. He is hanging out, just being …… a bohemian.”

“Our previous company was in Bellevue, WA and we wanted to change to have someone closer to home to help with our insurance needs. We went to Kent Nichols at Porter Whidbey Insurance company. So glad we did, as Kent helped us a lot. He reviewed ALL our policies and even was able to increase our home coverage, and reduce our rate. The office personnel are friendly and helpful, as well. We made the right decision changing to Porter Whidbey Insurance and especially meeting our agent, Ken Nichols.”

“The sales were terrific. The prices on staple foods are reasonable. The non-essential are pricer. Store is very clean, well stocked and staffed. The bakery section still had a nice selection of fresh bread at 4 pm. The checkout clerk, Jennifer, was still friendly and pleasant at the end of a busy sale day.”
