Loved this place!
Just two blocks away from town, it’s super easy to walk down to the main drag. There are lots of great places to eat and drink right along the Main Street.
Parking was easy and plentiful.
Check in was easy. The staff was great.
The bed was actual quite comfy. I would maybe request a few more pillows next time.
I got a room facing the water and I will say, having the cute little balcony to sit on and drink my coffee every morning was beautiful and perfect.
The room was very clean!
The price was fair and I would pay it again.
Highly recommend this place if you’re going to Port Townsend.
I was in a suite and it FAR exceeded my expectations. I wish I had more time to simply relax in the hotel room or private balcony overlooking the water. I can't speak for all rooms, but this one was recently renovated with calming and beautiful gray, blue and white tones; tile bathroom; in-room hot tub; fireplace; and private balcony overlooking the bay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and my only complaint, which could be easily fixed, is they have daylight white bulbs in lamps and fixtures, which shouldn't be used anywhere outside of an industrial warehouse as it's so unflattering. Other than that tiny issue, I adored the place.
We stayed in a renovated room on the water. It was a simple King Room. It was clean, comfortable bed, and a large balcony with a great view. It also had a very easy walk to Safeway, the marina, and downtown. Our room was a bit of a tight fit and there was only one end table and one chair in the room. We would have liked to have had a table on the balcony so we could eat/drink comfortably and to enjoy the balcony more (there were only 2 chairs). The AC worked great and there was a nice mini fridge but the breakfast wasn't provided yet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. All in all, we would stay there again!
This was by far my favorite place I've stayed. It was super cute, right on the water. Our room was basic and small. But the bed was extremely comfortable and room was cozy. Our room was equipped with a mini split (both heating and ac), cold mini fridge, and a surprisingly large array of TV channels with movies to enjoy.
The morning after our stay we watched a seal and otter from our deck while enjoying a cup of coffee.
I 100% would love to stay here again. It's not anything fancy, but cute, comfortable, and cozy!
This is such a charming, wonderful hotel! At the time of our stay, the hotel only had a 3.6 star rating…under 4 is usually an automatic “no” from me. Just based on its great location though, I dug a little deeper. All reviews from the 6 months prior to our stay were positive, so we gave it a chance and were so glad we did!
They’ve recently done renovations, and the rooms are beautiful! Well appointed, great shower, working fireplace, jacuzzi, microwave and fridge in each room, and every room has a balcony and view of the water! No “parking lot view” rooms at all.
They even have complimentary guest laundry, which was an added bonus since we were traveling with our small children.
This isn’t a 5 star, or even 4 star hotel, but it’s a solid 3.5 in terms of amenities. The location and views are great. Given that I almost bypassed it based on its google rating, I’m incredibly impressed and would definitely recommend!
