“I really liked this school. I have been reading the reviews and for all the people who are saying their children have been exposed to drugs and the flag thing. I hope they know that one got EXPELLED and the other got a suspension for the flags. Also, your child should have just thrown it away because it wasn't physical harm. With the drug stuff, I know one boy who has gotten better yet I hope parents know that there are some stupid children who have been exposed to these habits at a young age, possibly by their parents or a sibling or just a relative. Lastly, most of the teachers are very good. Mr. Ireland however I think he is a good PE teacher because he encourages students to be the best they can. I hope that the parents who say that their child came home crying or said what is going on at school, I hope you can understand that you are telling us the downside of the school. Every school has a downside.”

“I have used the training blades, sticks and wooden training weapons made by Tiger Mountain Woodcrafts for more than 20 years. In that time I had only one handle come apart, and Ken fixed it for me on the spot free of charge. Ken Koenig is a skilled metal and wood craftsman that does beautiful work and selects his materials carefully. A retired police inspector, he also has detailed knowledge of the regulations and specifications for impact weapons used by various state, federal and local law enforcement agencies. Perhaps what draws me most to his business is that he is also a martial artist with decades of experience. When he designs training weapons he considers the balance of the original. This is a particular challenge in training blades, which need to withstand the pounding of daily training but still retain the balance of the original steel blade. Ken works a lot with a particular tempered aluminum alloy. It will not spark, so I don't have to worry about eye protection. Yet it is light and durable. I have an espada 'y daga set made as a replica of the one use by Guro Dan Inosanto. Because I'm a much bigger guy I had him customize it to be a few inches longer than the original. It turned out beautifully and is nicely balanced. Ken Koenig is also a man of honesty and integrity and dependability. A handshake agreement from Ken Koenig is worth more to me than most other people's contracts. I recommend this business with my highest rating.”

“In October of 2019, my wife and I did a two week trip in Tanzania, entirely organized by Ultimate Africa Safaris. In my review of that trip, I said I can't wait to go again. And so we went in September 2021, again on a trip entirely organized by Ultimate Africa. This time it was primarily to Botswana, with 9 days in three camps, with extensions to Victoria Falls and Lusaka. Again, Ultimate Africa did a great job. Once we jumped the COVID testing hurdle and were in Botswana life was simple and fun. Great game guides great day and night game drives, great food, great nature, great camp atmospheres, and my personal favorite - great outdoor showers. If you can do a safari planned by Ultimate Africa, do it. You will have a great time that you remember forever. We will soon follow that advice and plan another trip.”
