“Came to the park , It’s not busy in fall and saw a buck and his family!!! (See photos). This park has nice big grass and dirt trails with water and sand dunes. There’s a slough or creek where your dog can have the best time. Swim , sniff and run. There are wildlife all over, cougars and coyotes. So leash them up if you don’t want to spend hour or two looking for your dog. ( like i do every time but i have a Great Pyrenees who can take care of himself mostly. The park rangers will reprimand you , promises of a fine but for the joy my dog gets it’s worth $95. He’s happy here unlike any other park. wild sniffs that’s my guess!”

“Nice clean beach with a TON of space for sitting under trees, eating lunch, and or/swimming. There are a LOT of picnic tables too, but at the beach itself, you will want a tent/hat to create shade, and a chair to sit on for comfort. The temperature of the water was perfect (mid August). WATCH out on the ramp that leads into the water. It grows algae/moss and is EXTREMELY SLIPPERY. The sand is mostly super small pebbles on the beach, then the medium rocks along the water line, and then it turns in to tiny rocks/sand as you get deeper. Bring swimming shoes/water sandals for those with sensitive feet.”

“It's a small neighborhood park but there is a paved walk area around the perimeter of the playground area. There are swings, a slide for young toddlers and a bigger slide. A monkey bar, see-saw, a climbing structure and a few other big kids toys. Two benches and a few picnic tables. There's also a tennis court next to the playground. No restrooms or porta potty.”

“Brett was super helpful finding us a spot for a quick overnight to see a Mariners game. We were taken aback with how nice this campground was. Just wow! Pristine and beautiful grounds, restrooms cleaner and nicer than some hotels we've stayed at. Wish we were able to stay longer. We'd definitely like to stay for a few days next time to chill in the wonderful treed ambience!”

“Great trailhead with an extensive network of well maintained forested trails available. Note that a Discover Pass is required to park here, but I believe that parking along the road just outside of the Star Tiger Mountain State Park sign, where there's another trailhead you drive by on the way to this one, might not require a Discover Pass.”

“This is an excellent preserved wetland. There are currently no trails, but some small game paths. There are excellent views of Issaquah Creek. There are no facilities and no parking. It is great that the city has preserved this natural space along Issaquah Creek. It appears the city is also clearing the invasive blackberry and planting native vegetation. If you are in the neighborhood it is simply pleasant to look at from the sidewalk.”

“The kayak rental is very simple and is done entirely online. The staff seemed friendly and courteous throughout. Kayaks are in good condition and Lake Sammamish is always really pretty with calm water. Life vests are included in your rental price. All in all, a really good experience!”

“A really fun hike to do with a loved one, or alone. We loved the bridges and the easy-to-follow trail. It's definitely been taken care of well. It took us 4 hours round-trip to get to the top and back. But definitely worth it! The views from the top were breathtaking! The elevation gain was easy; there are quite a bit of switchbacks that make the climb easier. There's a sign at every fork in the road to help you stay on your chosen path. Plenty of parking in the shade. All told, a fun, gorgeous hike. We will definitely be coming back.”

“This place is gorgeous. It is listed as an off leash park on Google, but it is not one of those. People do let their dogs off leash, but there is no safe fenced in areas designated for the pooches. The woods, the little bridge, and the water with the ducks was really enjoyable for my guys.”

“I attended a "Concerts on the green" concert and there were many people there, but still space in the back or side to lay out a small blanket and watch the show. I even brought my little dog and there were lots of other dogs there. It was alot of fun and the music was great.”

“Went there for my nephew's weekly football training during my visit to Sammamish. It's a small neighborhood park with a lush green field which kids use for sports practice. There is a small practice pitch for baseball at one end and a hard cricket pitch in the center of the field. In March 2022, there weren't any lights for night time play/practice.”

“This is a very popular and busy trail, let's start with that! The trail is very well maintained, and has great signage. In the shoulder season as you move from Winter to spring it can be a little muddy so be prepared for that. There are restrooms at the top. The views are really awesome of the city and Lake Sammamish. Tons of paragliders also use this as a takeoff spot so that can be quite entertaining as well. I personally will start very early to avoid the crowds. Have fun!”

“This is a nice park. There are several parking areas, restroom facilities, a skate park, basketball court, and tons of baseball fields. There is also a small section dedicated to Tibbetts Creek with a few interpretive signs. There is definitely great potential for more of a focus on the natural area.”

“Tiger mountain is one of my favorite mountain biking spots near Seattle. Be prepared for a somewhat strenuous climb to the summit, but the trails back down are worth it. These fun, well made trails have been built thanks to Evergreen Mtb Alliance.”

“In 2008, I graduated from Landstown High School those were the best times of my life and I learned so much from the faculty and staff there. I also love the fact that the high school that I still love is under the supervision of one the best Principal's. Dr.Matney was my the principal of my old middle school and I'm sure he will make great Principal of Landstown.”

“This is a beautiful area, especially if you just want to get deep into the woods and hear some peace and quiet. The mountain itself is not for the faint of heart. It's a serious hike, so come with adequate water for about 2-3 hours of continuous moderately strenuous exercise. I advise bringing bear spray, or otherwise carrying a defensive weapon. There are absolutely bears on this mountain.”
