“I took my kiddos (20 & 13) for their first piercings, older one for earlobes and the younger for earlobes and a mid helix. Everyone in the shop was very helpful and kind, just a happy energy all around. Our piercer, Yita, was an absolute rockstar from her time and attention to making sure placement marks were exactly where they wanted them and her skill with the needle to her awesome sense of humor and bubbly personality that made the whole experience great. We were having such a great time that I ended up getting my upper lobes done too and we made it a whole family event. 😄 Very thoughtful and clear after instructions and very clean and professional. Highly recommend! *If you are bringing a minor, yes you do have to have legal proof they are your kid. Be prepared and call ahead to confirm what you plan to bring to show this is acceptable. Any bad reviews that complain about this “inconvenience” should be ignored for their lack of common sense. 😉”

“He did my hysterectomy back in 2001. I had fibroids and suffered miserably for a year. He was very friendly and listened. I had gone to him once before that when I was having issues with my pills and was helpful. He treated me like a human being. His nurse Holly was also easy to talk to and answered my questions with compassion. My only mistake was not going to him first. I went to a different doctor when I was first diagnosed with fibroids and that other doctor was an arrogant, condescending jerk who wouldn't listen. “I discovered this B&B when I brought my youngest out to see Washington after their high school graduation in 2015. I returned for a visit again with another family member in 2018. Both times, Bill was a such gracious host to us...actually, gracious is an understatement! I feel like I am staying with family when I've stayed there. The upstairs room is so peaceful. I sleep so well there! And I still dream about the sunporch breakfasts we had before going on our daily adventures. It's a lovely experience that I will always treasure and hope to be able to do again in the future. I hear the Sound calling me as I write this! So grateful to these wonderful folks for opening up their home as a B&B!”

“We spent one night here on our anniversary. We splurged and got the King Jacuzzi room overlooking the water. My only complaint was the price … almost $500 for one night. That’s the going rate nowadays (I priced many other rooms in town) and it’s not a knock on Silver Cloud. My complaint says more about my budget than anything. The room was very luxurious and for the amount of money, we definitely got the value. Bathrobes were comfortable, high quality towels and plenty of them. The room appointments were first class. The view from the tub was terrific! The jacuzzi tub was huge! And water temp was just as you’d expect. We paid extra (when we booked) for parking, and walking to dinner and dessert was easy. It appears as though they are still doing a considerable amount of building in the area, and more businesses will show up soon. Ruston is a cool town nowadays and I expect we’ll be back before too long.”

“I came about 4pm on a weekend and donut case was still really full meaning they don’t run out when you have a donut craving mid day. Selection was great! Donuts are airy and nice just like you’d expect from a donut. I really only came for The ice Cream but ended up walking out with 4 bags of donut holes. Now on to the ice cream. Prices are so much better than some of these chain brands and tastes the exact same. Not cheap tasting but quality was spot on to the chain brands. My favorite thing was that she didn’t skimp on the portion. My cone was loaded. Customer service was great. First time ever coming but will for sure be back. Best place I’ve found in tacoma to date. Doesn’t look like much from the outside but walk in. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.”
