“This is one of our favorite all time restaurants in Seattle! We are so lucky to have it in walking distance to. I highly recommend making reservations or you could just sit at the bar (which we have done) or you could try and get lucky and score an empty table. Everything is magnificently done here, from the unique, very tasty food, to the cocktails and finally the incredible service!! It is a great date night spot, or place to bring family and friends. “We went there for brunch on Saturday and we had a 30 minutes wait time. The wait time is worth it because the food is amazing here. Staffs were very friendly and pleasant. Never had such yummy bacon before. Please do try the potatoes here. If you are lucky, then you'll find the Banana Donut - this sells like hot cakes. Try it. French toast was pure delish!”

“This food truck is amazing. Julie has owned it for over 10 years. However, as of September 1, 2018 she is retiring. She has sold the business to a man I haven't met yet and she tells me that he intends to keep the locations and menu the same, at least for a while. I'm sure he will eventually tweak things to his liking but I sure hope he doesn't run it into the ground. That would be a huge bummer because Julie's recipes are freaking awesome which is why she has such a huge following. I will keep my fingers crossed!!”

“I have been wanting to check this place out for a couple of months and I’m glad I finally made it! After a 300- mile ride Saturday we stopped here and was pleasantly surprised by the hosts’ hospitality first of all. They seem so genuine and kind. The decor gave a a beautiful middle eastern vibe and so was the music. Most importantly, everything we ordered was delicious and filling. We will sure be back.”

“At the time of my visit, Chk a Boom is take out via Arnie's, not a separate restaurant, so it was confusing to find. The signs are not clear. The chicken sandwiches are quality made, juicy, and flavorful. I got the Nashville Hot, which wasn't particularly spicy at all. It is a messy sandwich that 10 min drive home was enough to get a soggy bun. The pickle fries were tasty but quite greasy and soggy from the container. My group's Thai Sweet Chili and Bourbon Brie chicken burgers were reported to be very tasty. Price point felt high for size of burger and other options in Seattle. I would order again but would consume immediately at the nearby beach.”

We ordered the scallops for our appetizer - cooked well but all the seasoning was in a very thin gravy that didn’t catch on to the scallops, for entrees we got the jerk pork loin - was overcooked and tough but the rice that came and the flavors were great, and the curried goat - cooked perfectly, soft and well seasoned. The cocktails were potent but taste wise they fell a bit flat.”

“I barely leave reviews but the experience in this place was amazing! First it's very welcome, it's family managed. Great service. And the pastas are the best pasta I have ever tried. We were in Seattle and decided to stop there on our way home. We are coming back here every time we are around. I WOULD EVEN TAKE A TRIP FROM HOME (La Conner) if I was just craving good pasta. Authentic Food, Fresh ingredients, and a party of flavor for your palate. Simply the best!”

“Always a good spot, the shrimp cocktail is mini shrimp in a blend of celery, not the usual several large shrimp in sauce which is fine if your heart isn't set on larger shrimp, their menu should call that out. Love the bread basket & chowder is great. Let's face it, we go because of the amazing view & ability to walk the boardwalk before or after dinner. Very busy area so parking could be an issue, prepare to drive around a bit for a spot during prime time & weekends. Sand pit area outside for kids to keep them entertained while you have that final cocktail or dessert!”

“Seattle Deli is always consistent in the deliciousness of their food items. The Bahn Mi and the sticky rice with meat are always incredible, especially their signature grilled pork. We have found with our family that there are solid staples that we can grab consistently, and as we expand our cultural diversity we can try new things here knowing that they will be quality, even if we've never experienced them before. We've found several things out of our comfort zone that have surprised us and we've put into regular rotation. And their vietnamese coffee is bomb. 🤘😊🤘”

“10/25. The store just opened this week. Very limited selections for being a "bakery", but being that we are in a pandemic, I can understand why. There were pastry 8 selections (when we went): canolis, and 5 different flavors of pastry sticks, and couple other types of pastries. The matcha sticks are crunchy on the outside and the matcha cream is not too sweet, but the flavor is not great. The other pastry types are decent. Prices are reasonable. Will be back to try the burgers, but if they are like other locations, they should be of good and consistent quality that we're used to.”
