“Great hike that’s not too far (from Everett), it’s fairly flat and has lots of beautiful old growth. It ends/loops around by the river which is a nice spot to picnic and enjoy a snack at before hiking back. There were others we passed on the trail but it was not at all busy.”

Brightwater Park

Address: Woodinville, WA 98072, USA

Park

“What a gem of a park! Because its by the treatment plant we never really thought of the place as a worthwhile park to visit. We eventually did (as we are running out of new parks to drive to) and was pleasantly surprised. Parking is limited, there are no restrooms onsite (except at the Center if open) but the trails are flat and kid/stroller friendly, there are multiple ponds to explore on a short loop that young kids will be happy to walk through. We saw frogs, crawdads, water skimmers, dragonflies in the ponds. Highly recommend!”

Langus Riverfront Park

Address: 400 Smith Island Rd, Everett, WA 98201, USA

Park

“Passed through on a mini vacation + was told to go to this park. This was the cleanest park I have seen in a long time especially for such a big city. Lots of parking, lots of roaming space, a nice long walking trail, very green + lush grass, plants + tree's all around, clean bathrooms, nice covered picnic area with sink (water not working here at the time) + a bbq pit there too, ample other locations to have a picnic or just enjoy the beautiful views on the water at any of the many benches + tables, very quite all day into the evening (I just had to watch that sunset on the water). I definitely will be visiting this park again on my next visit.”

“A quiet, flat trail that runs through a forested area with a small pond about midway through. The parking lot is free, unpaved and small (not a criticism, just pointing out what to expect). Parts of the trail are a bit muddy on wet days, so you may want to come prepared when walking your dog. There’s a convenient trash bin at the entrance of the trail. Would recommend for a short, peaceful walk!”

WSU Master Gardener Demonstration Garden

Lord Hill Regional Park South Parking Lot

Address: 13823 Old Tester Rd, Snohomish, WA 98290, USA

Parking Park

“It's a beautiful park for sure. My family did a smaller loop, starting from this south parking lot, and we loved the trail. But like the others had mentioned, the last part of the trail is very steep. I'll definitely come back to this park, but next time I'm going to explore from the north parking lot to see if it's any better from there. I'd love to come back here with my parents, but I know I won't because of the last part of the trail. :(”

McCollum Park Athletic Field

Address: 600 128th St SE, Everett, WA 98208, USA

Park

“THIS IS A REVIEW FOR THE NORTH CREEK TRAIL. IT DOES NOT SHOW UP ON GOOGLE MAPS, SO IM USING THIS LOCATION TO REVIEW IT. MCCOLLUM PARK ITSELF IS VERY BLAND LIKE WHITE BREAD. I’ve been in this place hundreds of times. It usually does not disappoint. Now recently over the past year or so this trail has gone unkempt. Sometimes theres garbage near the picnic tables. A lot of the fences are ****ing wrecked. This does not make it a bad trail however. It’s a couple miles of stroll-able fine asphalt path which has diverse views such as apartment complexes. But seriously this trail does lead through a nice forest, some apartments, a shopping center and a wetlands boardwalk which is great. I love this place, it has a special place in my heart. I would quote the song of an open road or whatever by Walt Whitman but I do not remember it. This trail and Interurban trail are quantumly intertwined in my mind.”

Camp Hamilton Discovery Lodge

Address: Unnamed Road, 98272, Monroe, WA 98272, USA

Campground Park Lodging

“Great facilities to escape from the digital world for a few days. A nice lake view from the porch of Discovery Lodge is a great way to start the day and was only topped by camping on the beach, lake-side. The trails can be a little underwhelming, but the Lodge offers a little but of civilization to make for a more comfortable trip.”

Alderleaf Wilderness College

Address: 18715 299th Ave SE, Monroe, WA 98272, USA

Zoo Park

“Alderleaf opened up many doors for myself, it was a life changing experience but the school is not for everyone, though sometimes i wish it was! Like many situations in life, what you put in is what you get out, and after two years as a student at alderleaf I am ready to take on the next chapter of my life and plunge forward in my studies at Western Washington University. I aspire an environmental career (park ranger), and my time at Alderleaf not only sets me apart from the rest but it drew me closer to our natural world and brought out my naturalist side in extraordinary ways. At this school we learn about permaculture, animal track and sign, ethnobotany, plant ID, forestry, ancestral skills, friction fire and wilderness survival skills to name a few. Alderleaf is a incredibly close-knit community that is very welcoming, but mostly inspiring. If you have a chance, explore their web page, watch some student testimonials and if your inspired, please take the plunge! for me, it was worth every penny and every sacrifice. I plan to always stay connected and be apart of this rich community!”

For the sports enthusiast are plenty of #fishing areas, and a boat launch, although no lifeboats are provided, as well as a #skatepark, tennis court and sports field. Hiking, running and walking trails are a decent length. Swimming is also available. And of course there are a number of bird varieties to see including hawks and eagles occasionally. Bathrooms are available in the main park area. The park is well maintained. And although there are no food vendors on-site there are restaurants nearby. The only thing missing is an enclosed dog park area.”

North Cove Park

Address: 1806 Main St, Lake Stevens, WA 98258, USA

Park

“What a cute park with a view! This park has a paved path, a dock, restrooms, and a large open space to enjoy. The day we went it was cold and wet but what a great find! Despite the cold weather, there were teens on scooters, children on the playground, and people hanging out in general. It is located next to city hall and other businesses (grocery/restaurants/etc.). The ducks and seagulls are used to people and stayed close by. The kids got a hoot seeing them. If in the area, it's a nice place to stop and relax.”

Forever clueless about the accountable source for creating this stale marijuana ☁️ cloud. It was During this time I opened the hood on my car; The short time of doing a quick maintenance checkup is the same event where i had 2 friendly and local female citizens, stop to offer me a ride and or a vehicle battery jump. And of course they claimed it was Also to make sure I was okay.. what a kind filled city, with heart warming thoughtful beings. Such a joy”

Express Locksmith & Car Keys Snohomish

Address: 1610 Park Ave, Snohomish, WA 98290, USA

Mission Adventure Camp

Address: 26920 Mountain Loop Hwy, Granite Falls, WA 98252, USA

Campground Lodging Park

“Went to Mission Adventure Camp for a tactical training mission. Detailed briefings had been sent to all participants 24 hours before the mission, with very thorough detail and intentionally set up to create some interesting and challenging situations organically during the training exerc. All equipment needed was either detailed in our briefing documents or provided for us when we got there. Safety protocols and equipments checks were thorough and well implemented both before and during the training exercise. Afterward we debriefed the situation - what each of us observed and experienced, our lessons learned and how we wish we would have reacted to specific situations differently, and how we handled the limited information we had to start to inform our decision making throughout the exercise. Extremely valuable training, I recommend to anyone looking to increase their tactical awareness and confidence in high pressure tactical situations.”

Cedar Grove Park

Address: 15554 168th Ave SE, Monroe, WA 98272, USA
