“If you haven’t tried Tacoma Pie yet, this is your sign to do it. I’ve been here quite a few times since they’ve opened, and the pizza has consistently been made to perfection. They’re extremely generous with their toppings, which are all super high in quality. Don’t get me started on the dough… the cheesy crust is next level. I could go on, but you get the point. My favorites are the Maui and La Casa. Don’t forget to grab a bread pudding for dessert… trust me.”

“Local Asian Bistro has big ideas. It sets it's sights high and the moment you walk in the door you can tell there is a lot of promise there. I love the thought that has been put into the dining room, the solid, modern, yet simple furniture, the natural colors, even the drink menu is aspiring to be something different than your average Asian joint. My friend gets the Pad Thai, because he is not particularly adventurous, but it's also true that culinary castles can rise and fall on a good Pad Thai. Well I try it and I start to get excited. It's a little different than I'm used to, but it's good. A little sweet, good noodle separation, some solid points... even the presentation is above average, the plating is a burnt orange wonder. The salad rolls are perfect, I can hardly wait for my Pho.The fixins are right, the basil fresh. There is no condiment tray, a choice I come to regret a bit as the meal progresses. It's a clear broth, the noodle have good lift and are not all clogged up at the bottom of the bowl. The broth itself is ok. Just ok. I would have liked to add a little heat to it and maybe a touch of sweetness. I mean I can respect if the broth is perfect deferring to the chef's decision not to put out a condiment try, but this is just ok. But then we come to the beef. I ask my lunch companion what he thinks the meat is and he looks at it and says chicken. The beef is blanched white, tasteless and chewy. It is in fact just this side of disgusting. No mouth feel, no umami, not even a nice texture. This is the moment I begin to regret not having the condiment tray. Disappointment begins to creep into my consciousness like a small roof leak in a beautiful house. I am willing to think that this is the one place where Local Asian misses the mark. But Pho is my grail. If you can't do broth, then are are a ton of other places that can and do. It's like biting into a welcoming apple only to realize it's a red delicious. I might give Local Asian Bistro a second chance, my wife loves Pad Thai (In fact, like my friend, it's all she ever gets) and anything that makes her happy, makes me happy. but I won't be ordering the Pho, which feels weird to me. like going into a hot dog place and ordering hamburgers.”

“So, it’s our first time in Langley ad we did not know that there would be no options to get dinner past 8 pm. As we were walking home, we saw that someone was in Luso, so we went in, and we were not only greeted with kindness ( they were technically closed). But Fatima welcomed us in despite it being after hours! She whipped up a delicious dinner of fresh bread and Portuguese meatballs in a matter of moments!!! Our family was amaZed by her hospitality and kindness! It’s the best meal we’ve had! It was a lovely evening that we won’t soon forget!! Thank you! We highly recommend Luso!”

“Authenticity warms my heart. Loved the entire experience. You are greeted with a feel as if you just stepped into the door of your abuelas house. Chips and the best salsa I have had thus far in Seattle. I had the fresh margarita which made the bike ride home fun. The chimichanga with picadillo was delicious. I had more than enough food with half a chimichanga to go home. I tried the flan for dessert and again its the authenticity for me. It wasn’t the prettiest flan but definitely made from the heart. Most of all I loved the music which completed the vibe. I’ll definitely be returning to try more from the menu.”

“My bf and I absolutely love this place. We started coming here six or seven months ago and we usually stop in about twice a month between 4 and 8. Price is decent for two. We pay about 36 total. The food is always good we are bigger on the Chinese food and sushi. Rice and noodles are good. Shrimp dishes are good. Beef and chicken dishes are also really good. The only downside which is fair is when it gets busy they don't have as much food and it seems a bit hard to keep up. But that's when its as packed as it can be. I highly suggest coming here if you want a good buffet meal.”

“I have had Loco Chon multiple times. The staff has always been extremely friendly and great service. I had one bad experience with the quality of the food and since it was to-go, I was unable to bring the food back. I was contacted by the management/owner later that day and he made it right! I am impressed, grateful and appreciative with how prompt and concerned they were with the situation.”

“Good service, good brews with selection, and decent food - with a decent size menu. We docked our boat after a sail around the sound for a bite to eat. The clam strips and chips are not that great nor are the onion rings. The onion rings look good but the breading is not and the onions are soggy. The burgers are good however. Philly cheese steak sandwich is something to stop in for. Fish and chips are fairly decent. If you’re looking for a lunch place, here’s your spot!”

“Great Mexican food from a friendly owner / operator. The tacos are authentic and cover all the favorites. The burritos are large and delicious. Great place to stop on a nice day and sit at the picnic tables to enjoy the food. The do not have any indoor space to dine. I have not been able to try their tamales as the sell out so fast, which is a good sign.”

“This food is some of the best I’ve had in Tacoma. I dream about the fried plantains and fresh juice. I ordered their chicken platter and everything was fresh and delicious. Always look forward to getting food here.”

“Great Mex Food truck. Order online in advance then pick up at the best time for you. Fine menu with daily specials. Tamales are super; call and ask what's available..or ask at the truck window. Large portions.”

“Food was good. The eggs rolls and calamari was AMAZING. Service was fast. People are friendly. Place was clean. I'm pretty sure this is the most authentic place I've been to; their noodles are like nothing I ever had, she said they are "fresh noodle". Just tell them to go a little light on the fish sauce, unless you like it strong. Over all very good experience. I will go back if I want this.”

“My first visit was on a Sunday evening. Choice of seating, both indoors and patio, both high and low tables. Huge wall screen TV in back, near the 2 pool tables. And many others all around. I liked that there wasn't loud music..I could actually hear my date and make out all his words, without shouting! Well lit parking lot with visible cameras and signs mentioning same. Saloon doors on both bathrooms... yes, I like seeing the feet of men standing at the urinal while judging my next pool shot. Server had a proper dive bar dry/sassy attitude. I would have been disappointed by perky and bubbly. Truly. Prompt service. All in all, a cool place with a cozy vibe. Bikers welcome.”

“The pizza was good. The artichoke dip was okay. The atmosphere was lively & full of laughter. This business is popular. The decor and interior design was gorgeous. I wish I captured more pictures. A lot of people dining inside so I refrained from taking pictures in certain directions. The waiter was attentive and friendly. I will visit again!”

“Huge portions here at the landing. Check out the ribs, butter milk chicken salad and the french onion soup. Share a meal. We had no idea. Way to much food. Left overs for days. Also, totally reasonable prices. All this food and more not shown with cocktails was like 70 bucks.”

“First time on Whidbey Island, needed a seafood lunch and saw the other good reviews so we stopped in. It was great! Staff was awesome, we ordered the 3 tacos to share, and "magicly" received 4 so we each got 2. The fried clams were outstanding, delicious and tender, not at all chewy and the Fish and Chips were some of the best we've ever had. The tarter sauce is the best I've ever had, I could have eaten it with a spoon... definitely worth stopping in!”

“Located in the same lot as H Mart, near the T-mobile store. Plenty of parking, ADA friendly space (but we didn't use the restrooms so not sure about that). Brought my cousin here in his tilt-n-space wheelchair, space was sufficient for him to tilt back. We came before 5 pm on a Tuesday and one other couple was there. Food was as expected per the reviews, absolutely fantastic! Great menu selection, see photos. We had three miso soups (free or included, no charge), two spicy tuna hand rolls, dragon rolls, rainbow rolls, and the firecracker rolls. Under $60 with tax for everything, great value for how good the food was. Service was fast, friendly, and attentive. You can see food being made fresh. The three of us left stuffed with a bit of leftovers. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!”

“Made plans at the last minute to go out and have drinks. This was my first time there and it was pretty busy. I always used to pass this place while driving to work and never thought the place had this much activity. The bartender was cool and the drinks were good. We had a stop, drop and drink it, crown peach tea and a Manny's. The bartender asked what size 8 or 32oz and got the 32oz which was in a huge mason jar. Also had shots of tequila. There's darts, pool, & ping pong out back and good amount of seating in back. Good music was playing. Lots of people and good vibes. We sat out back then came in close to closing. Met people and had fun.”

“My friend and I went to Anthony's for brunch. He ordered the Eggs Benedict and I had the San Juan Scramble. The portions were smaller than I'm used to, but they were perfect since I didn't have to take anything home. The eggs were flavor-blasted but not overbearing, which was an interesting and pleasing combination. The coffee was delicious and my friend was pleased with his Eggs Benedict. The coffee cake was half crumble on top and half cake on the bottom. If that number can be shifted to 2/3 cake and 1/3 crumble, that would be a great improvement. Otherwise, it is a good mass produced coffee cake. The view of the Marina was nice. The server was very responsive and respectful. The rest of the serving staff was also nice and helpful. Overall, there is a clear threshold between fine dining and regular dining. Anthony's blew me away and I would recommend to anyone looking to have brunch with a friend or family.”

“I have been eating at trappers for a few years, but lately i have been coming to Bonney Lake a lot more because of the people who work here and manager Laura. Her customer service skills are very wonderful and she has an eagle eye on everything in the restaurant. I’ve enjoyed getting to know her because it is nice to have great conversations with her and the chefs. , Tito, and Donvovan are my 2nd favorite chefs because they make jokes the whole time. Brandon is my favorite chef though because he makes the most delicious sushi ever. Rick is my favorite bartender and is a fascinating person to talk to. Jenna makes better drinks though ha ha. Along with the food, and your very nice servers and bartenders it is always an enjoyable experience.”

“This is my favorite sit down Mexican restaurant in the state. I judge all Mexican restaurants by their salsa and Puerto Vallarta is by far superior in this state. Portions are magnificent (seriously, I think I’m gonna blow up) and prices are reasonable. Service is, of course, very friendly. Definitely stop by if you have the chance.”

“Local chain in the area that was highly recommended by a friend in the area. We ordered a large pizza with half Parma primo and the other half spicy chicken. We also ordered the Sicilian chicken salad. Can not recommend this place enough, the pizza wasn’t oily and the salad was fresh. Made for a great meal.”

“Great for cyclists. They've got bike racks that are mostly intelligently designed. The one criticism that I can give is that they are too close to each other. Each upsidedown U bike rack should hold 2 bikes each. The way that these are laid out, only 3 could fit on them. I really appreciate the inside seating facing out toward the bike rack as seen in my photo. Why do I need to my bike to be visible while I eat? Because it only takes about 25 seconds for someone with an angle grinder to walk up confidently and cut my $120 bike lock off with the highest bike lock security rating in the world. Why am I giving 5 stars instead of 4 stars? Because most places in all of North American are terrible for bike friendliness. Credit where credit is due.”

“Really really really really really good made fresh you can taste the way they cook it I'm so happy I don't live close to this place I would never stop eating. Not that I don't think they would be good company but I just couldn't live inside the restaurant. I'll be back once a week when I come in from Texas. I can't wait to try the menu. I'm sorry I'll be more specific when you eat something and it reminds you of your childhood that's good.”
